Got this lady last year around Oct. Was gifted to me by my aunt when my truck started going out.... Said "if anyone in this family can fix it, it's you." Well about 3 months later she's my daily. Still working thru issues as they pop up, but I can't wait til I've got her mechanically sound and then can start working on painting her.

Named her Venus~

This is my 1989 RS, with the 5 speed and 305tbi. The engine and transmission are on their last leg, so I’m tryna decide if I wanna LS swap it, 350 swap it, or sell it. I work for minimum wage, so it will be a long time before I can do either of the swaps, but It’s really hard for me to sell it because it makes me smile every time I see it out in the driveway, and if I sold it, I’d never be able to get another one with the way classic car prices are increasing. I have a lot on my mind, so I’m hoping for some advice from this group

Replaced my MAF sensor. Been having a time today, finally got her running better than she has ever run, but randomly just shuts off... Research points to the burn off relay, but everywhere I look I'm getting conflicting answers on to which is correct.

From left to right:

- left has 5 wires

- middle has 4 wires

- right has 5 wires

Can anyone tell me exactly which relays these are. I know what all they relays are supposed to be there, but what order are they in?

So, I'm running into ignition problems, falling on its face when giving her gas, rough idle when the temp is hot. Yesterday I replaced the ICM and Ignition coil. Secondary coil tested bad.

So it ran worse after replacing those. Looking today we find this mess from the previous owner (yippee) So my issue, does anyone know where I can buy this pigtail and do it right?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. TIA
