Looking for a good library/reading room in Thiruvalla

Hey peeps! Is there any good library or reading room in/around Thiruvalla where I can study peacefully for a competitive exam?

Looking for a place that's quiet, comfortable and suitable for studying for long hours.

If you've personally used one and had a good experience, please recommend! 🥲

What happened to 12to12 restaurant?

It seems to have been shut since the flood and hasn’t resumed since. At least, i haven’t seen it open since. The last i called was on the day of the flood and they said they would be back on Monday but now it’s been over two weeks i think.

The food was really good and they always seemed so packed. Does anyone know why it’s still shut?

Looking for places to learn guitar

Any suggestions for a good music school for learning guitar or someone who provides guitar lessons around Tiruvalla?

Checked with DSMC (SCS) but they only provide keyboard lessons and only other place i know is Biju Memorial which im not how good they are?

I'm a working professional who bought an aacoustic guitar thinking i could self learn, but its hard to find motivation between work and other things!

Stay away from Town bakery

Ordered meat rolls through swiggy and got onion roll.

Called them to complaint and the guy who took the phone seemed like he was on drugs. I told him i ordered meat roll and there is no meat in this. He said "ano?". I said atheee. He said try to find and I'll definitely get. I said i looked and there is none.

He said, "sarilla next time verumbo meat evide enn kanich theram"

So if you wanna catch a potential assaulter here is your guy.

Need advice

Hey everyone, I want to open a small scale business in Thiruvalla by beginning of next year. Since a lot of families here have relatives working abroad and many elders live in town, I want to build something actually useful.
What kind of service, cafe, or shop would you love to see in town? And also is thiruvalla a good place to start to business??
Let me know your thoughts!

Meet Up in Tvla or around

Hey guys,
I understand most of us are going through a lot right now considering the floods and upcoming Onam. But in the near future, if we would plan a meet up or something fun and interactive… how many would be willing to join? 😅♥️
I’ve recently moved to Tvla and would like to have some quality friends around here.

Edit 1 - I see many are interested. Would be nice to have a group chat or something and we can arrange accordingly. Not too soon cuz I think everyone’s busy with the floods and onam plans.

Edit 2- Since I’m new to town, I don’t know much places here than the typical food spots. I’m open to ideas and suggestions, I’m also thinking of a POTLUCK… but location is the problem. Houses or outdoor- what do you say?
