Njørd- Prometheus Fire

My young, swiss powermetal inspired band has just released our first single Prometheus Fire ! Filmed on a ruin

Every watch, listen or feedback would mean a lot! It was bloody cold on that ruin:)

And yes, I am aware that we have a viking look but sing about a Greek God haha. Two of us are literature students…

Cl4wson - Mint Condition

This is a song I wrote last week. Curious to know what your take on it would be. So this post is a feedback request.

About the song; I'd been meaning for a while to write a song without a chorus, but with a refrain on the last line of each verse. And I had this nice chord progression and melody in my backlog of unfinished ideas (four phrases, minor key, ending on iv so it wants to resolve back to i) Then one day, while driving to work, it hit me what I should use as the refrain. Additional lyrical inspiration come from the movie How To Get Ahead In Advertising.

(About the video; this is nothing too specific, just some stock footage clips that accompany the music, because why not?)

Lyrics:
MINT CONDITION
Found a knot, back of the collar
Stood all day at the counter
Home at six, don't mention it to her
it was nothing, nothing at all

Two weeks on, still where I left it
Hear a voice. Long day, probably.
“Hey there handsome, did you miss me?”
This should be nothing. Nothing at all
This can’t be nothing. Nothing at all

On the train, crammed to the windows
Forehead pressed to the cold glass
“This is it. This is your whole life.
Sure aint nothing. Nothing at all.
It aint nothing. Nothing at all."

Electric hum, cracked bathroom mirror
Bolt the door, so no one sees
take the knife and check my reflection
What’s the worst that could happen to me
What’s the worst that could happen to me

Still go in, same as I always
Steady work. Could be worse, too.
“Never became a thing, or now did you?”
Don't worry 'bout it, it was nothing at all
Don't worry 'bout it, it was nothing at all

Looking back it took nothing at all
Looking back it took nothing at all

We were a 2000’s underground rap group called “Broke N Lovin it” that never officially dropped.Curious what people think today.

Back in the early 2000s me and my friend were in a small rap group called Broke N Lovin It.

We never got signed, never officially released anything, and the group eventually split up. But we recorded a bunch of tracks in that era when we were just making music in bedrooms and living off whatever we had.

Our whole concept was basically being broke but proud of it — not in a fake flex way, more like we didn’t want money or fame to change who we were as artists if we ever made it.

We were just young, hungry, and trying to sound like something real to us at the time.

I recently found some of those old songs and figured I’d share one here just to see how it holds up today. I’m not trying to promote anything, just curious how people hear it after all these years.

Would appreciate any honest feedback — production, lyrics, vibe, anything. Good or bad.

Dreamy – “Some Stars Aren’t Meant to Shine” | Looking for feedback on my new dream pop son

When I was writing this song, the title actually came before the lyrics.
“Some Stars Aren’t Meant to Shine” wasn’t meant to say that some people simply aren’t enough.
For me, it’s about how easily we measure ourselves against other people, even though we’re not meant to shine in the same way. We compare ourselves to someone else’s path and wonder why we’re falling behind, when maybe we’re just built for something completely different.
That feeling became this song.
I’m curious—before hearing it, what does the title Some Stars Aren’t Meant to Shine make you think of?

P.S. This is only the second track I’ve mixed and mastered myself, so I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback on the production. Does it sound polished to you, or does it still feel a bit raw? I’m trying to learn with every release.

You like femtanyl aka electro noise kinda experimental music?

if you fit in that group of people, any feedback? (asking this way since I think people who might not be in this subgenre will feel like this is just static noise)

Whatever you say
