Made some Universes Within versions of cards from the new Avatar set that I really liked:
[[The Legend of Roku]] (plus backside [[Avatar Roku]] and Token), [[The Last Agni Kai]], [[Avatar Roku, Firebender]], and [[Fated Firepower]].

[[Knuckles the Echidna]], the ugliest MtG card ever created*, re-imagined as a denizen of an Australian-themed region of Bloomburrow.

I was so thrilled to find this gorgeous art! I had given up on finding an illustration of an echidna that wasn’t Sonic the Hedgehog fanart and I was preparing to draw my own artwork, when I finally stumbled upon this perfect image while searching for reference photos of echidnas. (My search phrase was “echidna scientific illustration” and I don’t know why that worked.)

*I used to think the ugliest card was [[Gau, Feral Youth]], but Knuckles stole the title. Don’t worry, Gau, you still have the worst flavor text.

Made a few more universes within proxies of [[Galadhrim Ambush]], [[Galadhrim Brigade]], [[Galadriel’s Dismissal]], [[Legolas’s Quick Reflexes]], and [[Redirect Lightning]] for my decks.

I don’t like having Universes Beyond cards mixed in with my regular MTG cards, so I’ve been making these alternate versions instead. Last time I posted cards like this, it turned into a bit of a heated debate because some people didn’t like them, and in the end I got called a fucking loser by someone. Hopefully we can keep it chill this time. I know these aren’t for everyone, but maybe some of you guys will enjoy them.

I decided not to go with the “= XXX 011” set and number treatment, but instead put the card name at the bottom for easier recognition.

In-universe versions of [[The One Ring]] — with and without holostamp, with and without watermark. Most importantly, I fixed the stupid mistake of using the Alchemy version.

Was going through my board games the other day and blew the dust off Xenoshyft and Xenoshyft: Dreadmire. Looking through the cards I saw what a good fit some of the art for the enemies from the game would be as an alternative in-universe threat to the Edge.

Remember, the only good bug is a dead bug!

Probably going to get back into MTG and here's my attempt at a Superstate for my Bruna deck that doesn't feel wildly out of place, liked Eldrazi Conscription being fitting so went with a similar motif here

Whew, this took a hot minute. Find fitting art for the Xenovores is proving difficult. Anyway some lore dumps for the Xenovores and Amaliaths here. And a fun variety of planes! Enjoy!

A few more re-skins, mostly sci-fi as I've been enjoying doing the Edge of Eternities ones.

In my first version of the borderless, I had the gold tone in the title bar, but I thought it looked a bit jarring and I prefer it without.

All of the mutagen token-producing cards from TMC/TMT plus an extra who synergises with it. Not really sure I'll get around to the other counters synergy cards from these sets though I'll probably produce a more thematically aligned version of Mutational Advantage, as my only version of that right now is themed around the rad/portent token set.

For this batch I've used almost exclusively art from Sean Andrew Murray, and nearly all of that art -- so far as I can tell -- was made for the Gateway board game project in which he's involved. So if you like the art used here, I very strongly recommend you check it out.

My now standard disclaimer: I do not exert myself to match the cards to existing lore entities and I am only too happy to change the types (and the types of tokens the card makes) if I feel like it matches the art. I do this because there are a lot of cards I've earmarked to UWify (something like 150ish when I started, and over 400 now), and I'm not exactly thrilled to spend even more time trying to match these cards to some or another thing from the lore. So I just make stuff up. I'm aware that changing the types of cards changes the balance, but I don't care. Please refrain from tediously "reminding" me of this. These will be used for very low powered kitchen table magic and I am perfectly capable of trusting myself not to abuse type changes. One other thing: You do not have my permission to reupload any cards I've shared here to any other websites or databases. Obviously I can't and won't stop you from doing that, but consider this a record of my answer on the matter.

All cards should have the 1/8 bleed edge via CardConjurer (except the early ones in the list below) and I do not have versions of the cards without bleed.
