Hit a wall searching for a set of 5 colored artifacts.

These arts are of the 5 Moxen oversized promos given as prizes for Vintage tournaments. Since they have only been used for extremely rare oversized promos i felt comfortable enough using them as these cards would never likely share a spot on the table with the original art.

[[Iron Man Armor]] and [[Night Nurse, Healer of Heroes]] from MSH. Bonus borderless version for Iron Man Armor, since the art I chose was vertical. For Night Nurse, I started experimenting with including a watermark to indicate the plane I'm going for.

I did a custom set where I did UniWit for the SPG and then also some in the commander decks. I largely tried to keep name except when it clearly broke copyright (white tree is a bit of an edge case) and none of these have changed typelines but I do have a document with my in universe names for UB types and mechanics that are copyrighted.

I use Godzilla Frame because I like ease of identifcation. The SPG ones and last three are specifically themed to my fan plane that this set was for but the others I was more loosey goosey on. Technically I had three more but I hit picture limit so I'll have to upload them later.

As in my previous post (here), my goal is to avoid reusing existing commander-legal MtG art, and avoid any mechanical changes unless absolutely necessary. I love thoughts on what you enjoyed, and what I could do next! Also, would people prefer for me to make large posts collecting 20 cards at a time (I have ~100 to share total), or should I perhaps post one new thing per day?

This whole thing has been a blast, but I can definitely feel myself slowing down a bit. I’ll for sure be making more, just maybe not as quickly as before. I’m not stopping tho, so look forward to more down the line!

Hey everyone, here are all the Avatar cards I've made so far, except with mechanical name changes for the bending abilities.

Now, I thought a lot about this before I started it, and my initial impression was to reflavor the abilities entirely more suited to the planes I choose. But, due to Aangs cards all utilizing multiple different bending abilities, I figured it'd be a little harder to make his cards match any sensible flavor.

Ultimately I decided to go with what could be called "legally distinct" bending abilities. I began by just using shape for all the suffixes, but windshape didn't sound appropriate. I liked the alliteration on all the non-fire ones, so it felt like the easiest and arguably cheesy way of mimicking how Arena handled Enweb.

Please feel free to give any recommendations or advice, even suggestions as to what you guys might think would be better terms to replace them. I'm a huge fan of Avatar, so I definitely see myself making more of these, and it'd be good to know what the general feel is.

Notes: I try to connect each card to an existing character or world in-universe. I also avoid using art from any existing commander-legal card: everything either has artist attribution or is an official WotC key art (and thus confirmed to be non-AI). I appreciate the Mystical Archive frame to make these look a little distinct from other cards in my deck, so proxies are clear to my playgroup! I would love thoughts and feedback on any of these, I have over 100 I can share if people are interested.

Hey everybody, here are another few cards from Avatar I've been working on. For fire I went to Regatha, Earth I went to Zendikar, and now with the waterbending cards I'm using the Frozen Reaches, the unexplored southern pole of Dominaria.

All right, here we are. Finally we're at airbending. I honestly had no clue what direction to go in setting wise, given that I was finally dealing with a creature with the Avatar subtype. Obviously he's a Human Avatar, so that makes it simple. I'm not sure where Human Avatars fit into Magics lore, so I guess feel free to imagine what you like onto the characters.

[[Long Feng, Grand Secretariat]] from TLA and bonus [[Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder]] from J25. Evereth isn't UB, but the only printing has anime art that is especially jarring to me. The art for Elisabet is fanart of an Ixalan vampire by a non-MtG artist, though I think his work is good enough to work for WotC. I was excited to find it and to find a card to use it on.

I've included versions with and without bleed (the 1/8" extra margin required for printing).
