Pulled the trigger on classic bed in oak stain

I debated for about two months about walnut vs oak which is the new color. Ordered wood swatches first (see the last photo), then made up my mind and got the king bed in oak stain, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

I did my best to color correct so that the photos can display the true tones you’ll see in person. The coating on wood makes them very off when being photographed.

I gotta say that the oak on Thuma’s website looks very cold and not at all appealing to me, but then I thought, well if their walnut is warmer than the website, maybe their oak is actually warmer too? 🤣 After all I do prefer the “true/warm oak”, or “true walnut” which is richer than Thuma’s version. I’ve seen many reviews that their new walnut is less orangey, but the walnut swatch I received is still not rich enough to my taste. Thankfully the oak turned out to be surprisingly beautiful 🥰

Slats are so so SO heavy I’m unable to haul them to my bedroom on 3rd floor 😭 Waiting for my boyfriend to come by to help me out lol.

Worth it?

Found this on FB Marketplace and had it delivered to a storage unit. Even though it says brand new/unused, there were scratches and dents in the corners (bummer, had a little bit of buyers remorse right away)

Anyway, I still feel it’s a good deal, for getting bed, dresser, sofa and media console - all for $1900 delivered.

Just want to get a second opinion that it was a right purchase.

Also, is it possible to touch up the scratches and scuff marks? Does Thuma sell any stains and stuff for refinishing these?

Thank you!

Nest Media Console

We got the nest console 1 shelf + 2 drawer in the espresso colorway and didn’t realize it’s 2 separate consoles that don’t fit together. No screws to secure them.

Regardless….we love it.

(Please ignore the empty walls and dirt. We’re getting to it 🫠🙂)

Thuma

I’ve been trying to get ahold of thuma customer service and no one is answering back. Is this a normal problem??? I’m trying to catch them before they ship my order. And nothing.

Walnut color

Looking to get our first Thuma frame and wanted to buy the walnut. I’ve been finding posts saying it is too orange-y but is that the older ones? Have they perfected the color now?

Essential Bed - Grey

Hello all!

We are looking at the Essential Bed (King). We are attempting to match the "drift wood" stain color, and it seems as though the "grey" color is close. Can anyone confirm if the "grey" is more brownish? If possible, can you post a photo?

Thanks!

Can Anybody Tell Me How The Nightstand Legs Attach?

Hi,

I'm looking at a complete bedroom set from FlexiSpot (bed, modular dresser, nightstands, and underbed storage).

The nightstands are too tall to fit under the windows that flank our bed.

If I remove the legs, they'll fit just fine. I also think they'll be a better aesthetic match to the dresser without the legs.

I need to know how they're attached (to know if removal is even possible).

I've reached out to customer support, but just keep getting told that the piece of furniture isn't designed to be used with out legs, it will be unstable (it would actually make it more stable), and it would scratch the floor (it's carpet). I acknowledged it would void the warranty on them, but still no help.

If anybody has one, and could just take a look, that would be great. Our ordering from FlexiSpot hinges on this one little bit of information, so I really appreciate it.
