Image 1 — What are your favourite uniforms in a Gerry Anderson series? Mine are definitely the Stingray ones. They're a lovely colour, militaristic, mostly gender neutral and slightly retrofuturistic [or, well, of its time]. I like their stripes on their shoulder pads too. A great military scifi combo

By the way, despite both being Lieutenants, Atlanta appears to be a higher rank than Fisher because of her stripes!

Just finished the Secret Service and I thought that the last episode, More Haste Less Speed, was by far the best. It really felt like it had finally found its stride as an odd character led comedy caper and feels like series 5 or 6 of The Avengers. If you only watch 1 episode, it should be this

It's also the episode that featured more of the guest characters than the leads and played with the formula, with Father Unwin and Gabriel being shrunk as well as Matthew. It's also the one with the infamous motorbike doubling, so there is that!

Stand by for action!

Took me a year to finally get around to this, but really happy how it turned out.

The time when Scott shot Lady Penelope

I remembered I had this book on my shelf that I got at an old book store. Never read it and happen to open up a page to find Scott shooting Lady Penelope point blank 😲. Safe to say I'm gonna read the rest now 😂

I found a press kit for the 2004 movie

Found this on eBay a couple weeks ago. Mostly just talks about the cast, crew and production, though there's some early renders of the Thunderbird craft. Perhaps the most interesting thing is an included CD, which contains a mix of stills from the movie and behind-the-scenes stills, all in 4K resolution. The contents of the CD can be found here: https://archive.org/details/thunderbirds-movie-press-kit-cd

Not pictured are a few pages detailing the previous work of some of the crew, and a few pages of credits.

LEGO Thunderbird 4

Here is my LEGO model of Thunderbird 4 (from the 1965 show).

The thunderbird itself has approx 550 pieces, excluding ocean.

The model is scaled at 1:43.5 (to match my LEGO railway collection)

Next up will probably be some pod vehicles, or pod 4! (Pod 4 will be about 60cm long!)

I got these 2 signed Matchbox figures in an eBay auction the other day with the plan of selling one of them, but I can't decide on which one to sell. Thoughts? One of them has some kind of sticker on it and the other has cracked plastic at the end and a yellowed corner where it's been stuck back on

Jack Knoll from the Security Hazard blog made a video ranking all of the Gerry Anderson shows. Really interesting as someone who's only just started them. He's only 18 subscribers away from monetisation on YouTube, btw. Let's see if we can change that!

Going old school for tonight's watch

God i take the crystal clear Blu-rays for granted these days! That said, there's something heartwarming about watching it like it'd been filmed with a potato with vaseline smeared over the lens 🥲

A tiny question for anyone able to see this (and something i found funny)

If I could find them I could show them but anyways

For the thunderbird 6 movie I found it so funny that sky-ship ones officials just kept on shooting at thunderbird six like they didn't watch. Rescue,it was actually pretty cool not gonna lie

And also, for the zero x movie,my question is, were the rock snakes we saw the mysterions or no? Cause captain black WAS on the zero X if im correct..so yeah
