Seriously, do you think they've improved the gameplay?

It’s absurd to score aces when the AI just stands there motionless; I recently uploaded a video showing how the AI behaves—it happened five times across two matches. It’s absurd and disgusting.

Play career with downloaded player from community

Hi, kind of a new to the game. Haven’t played since this awesome update with waaaay better gameplay. My question is how to play career with downloaded player. For example I found Dino Prizmic in community a downloaded it, so when I go to career mode he is not shown there. Am I doing something wrong or you can’t play career with downloaded player? On Wimbledon tournament you can choose him. PS5 is the console

Un passo avanti e due indietro

Only you in career mode still have strong players being eliminated by bots or clearly poor players.

THEN WHY IS FEDERER OR DEL POTRO STILL THERE AS IF THEY WERE ACTIVE PLAYERS?

Commentators and others.

I have just recently restarted playing tiebreak, and I have totally come around; it is much better than topspin. I suppose the work they have done shows. The career mode is fun; I have played some online matches, mostly against serve bots, idc. Here for the career.

That being said, I liked the animations between games and stats after sets; why is it gone now.....
I wish there were more stats, but no game has done this ( forehand or backhand winners, more serve stats, etc.)
Finally, commentators: the first Tennis World Tour had them, and I really liked that. I hope there is a plan to add them; I doubt it tho.

More tactical rallies, smoother gameplay and Kudos to the developers

I would like to thank the developers of TIEBREAK.Over a year on and they are still releasing courts, outfits, animations (love the player net cord apology that's been added!). The slams look absolutely beautiful !

Whatever the little glitches, you can't knock the passion behind this project. With the game on Legendary difficulty, Tiebreak controls and my sliders tuned I've found a nice balance of decent, immersive gameplay. If I'm not in the right position or overcook a shot, I'm in trouble!, i like the amount of jeopardy in this game....!

I'd love the cutscenes back and some TV commentators for extra immersion hopefully they can address this. THANKS BIG ANT/NAMCO!

TIEBREAK played PvP is really nice and fun 🎾🔥

Given the unpredictability of a human player compared to that of the AI, I think it's the most fun way to play TIEBREAK, do you agree? (Of course without abusing broken mechanics)

From the Discord

does anyone know what this "Fixed up a number of Career issues with tournaments not completing correctly" means?

message was sent on the 30.06

ENJOYING THE NEW UPDATE🎾🔥

How are you finding it? Do you like it? I'm really pleased with the effort developers are putting in to make the gameplay better.🙏👌🏻

Love Tiebreak game.

I’m a huge tennis fan, both when it comes to watching and playing, of course. The first tennis game I ever played was Virtua Tennis 2. Once, while visiting my family, I found Virtua Tennis 4 on their PC, and it felt like I had just invented electricity! I really like Tiebreak—I've had it for 3 months now since I got my PS5. I think it’s awesome that they included so many real tennis players. The only stupid thing is that when I download a player from the community creators, I can't use them in career mode. I really think they should add that feature.

Make ratings actually matter

Feedback in case Ross Symons or any other dev is reading this thread.

While I appreciate all of the licensing and cosmetics updates as of late, the core issues I'm facing with this game are as follows:

  1. In the matches I play, it's a crap shoot whether the player is going to be good or not. Sometimes, Sinner plays like an unseeded player, while some Joe Tennisplayer I've never heard of is the second coming of prime Roger.

  2. The tournament results are never realistic. Often times, you see a lot of single digit seeds being upset in the first couple of rounds, so by the time you make the semis, it's you and high or unseeded players (in real tennis, you usually see the same 4-5 players get through to the semis of the grand slams).

Ultimately, I feel like the players DO have tendencies (aka some play defensive baseline, some are serve and volley, etc.), but there needs to be a better discrepancy between the QUALITY of players, both when playing them and in CPU simmed matches.

Help with difficulty

Guys, what difficulty do you play on? I just can't seem to get the hang of "Hard" mode, yet in the "custom difficulty" settings, the AI feels like it's on "Super Easy."
I usually play on medium difficulty; I win some and lose some (though it feels a bit odd because they hardly ever hit winners). But on "Hard," they don't miss a single ball—everything lands right on the line. For instance, I played as Zverev against Paire, and he was hitting serves over 200 km/h while I was hitting 180... he played like Nadal in his prime.
Any ideas on how to balance it out?
Thanks.

Has anyone switched from TopSpin 2k25 to Tiebreak?

And what's your experience so far?

Im only few hours in and I really like it. Ball physics is definitely wonky and clunky but there is some sense of freedom, I can get some shots exactly how I want and chances of error are pretty reasonable I guess.

TS, even tho i quite like it, now feel kinda Black Mirror type of uncanny, like I just control scripted slow ass animations and people who are good are usually abusing that type of stuff...which is common thing in online gaming but come on. Tiebreak is much easier but I still have a lot to learn since my muscle memory is still under the TS influence.

What's your opinion?

I need the game to update dropshots for online right now

https://preview.redd.it/701kidq85oah1.png?width=1377&format=png&auto=webp&s=9c15452f3bc9966e056b65c9c035186e211b640b

This dude does nothing but curved slices and drop shots for online. I'm trash, but if I can constantly take this dude to tiebreaks, beat him, and then he disconnects while expecting to give him a win (Which I do). I'm so close to not giving these types of dudes any wins

Worth going back?

With the new update I’m intrigued to come back to the game after maybe about a year. What sort of state is the game in now?
