What are the odds of getting Srivani Ticket?

!! OM NAMO VENKATESHAYA !!

I'm planning to book Srivani tickets for my parents and in-laws. After going through the latest updates, this is my understanding — please let me know if I'm correct:

  1. There's no longer an option to donate first and book darshan later. Donation and darshan booking now need to be done in a single transaction.
  2. They've stopped giving tickets in person.

Has anyone booked Srivani tickets online recently (June 2026)? What are the odds of donating and booking tickets online on the same day? Any tips to keep in mind? Please share your experience.

My Suprabhatam Seva Experience at Tirumala – A dream fulfilled after 12 months of trying

I have been visiting Tirumala regularly since 2012, but I only came to know about Suprabhatam Seva last year. The moment I learned that devotees get an opportunity to be so close to Lord Venkateswara during the early morning awakening ritual, I knew I had to experience it at least once.
I started applying every month from May last year. Month after month, I was rejected. After 12 consecutive months of unsuccessful attempts, I had almost accepted that it would take much longer.
Then, this April, I received the message that changed everything—I was selected for Suprabhatam Seva.
I was literally in shock for five minutes. I couldn’t believe it. My colleague was also selected with me, and we were both incredibly excited. For the next few weeks, I kept thinking about the seva, and honestly, I had several sleepless nights because of the excitement.
We started our journey from Pune on 30th June, reached Tirupati on 1st July, and went up to Tirumala in the evening. Since our accommodation was allotted along with the seva booking,
That evening, we had Varahaswamy darshan, which took about an hour due to heavy crowd. After dinner, we tried to rest because the real experience was going to begin in the middle of the night.
Based on several Reddit posts I had read, we reached the VQC entrance around 12:00 AM. To our surprise, around 40–50 devotees were already waiting before us. At that point, I became nervous because everyone says that reaching early improves your chances of getting a place inside Bangaru Vakili.
As time passed, more and more people arrived. Unfortunately, many devotees also started breaking the queue, which made us even more anxious. We simply kept faith in Lord Venkateswara and hoped everything would work out.
Then something unexpected happened.
When the gates opened, some of the people standing ahead of us entered the wrong queue. That gave us an opportunity to move ahead. We crossed the first ticket check, then another digital verification, another checkpoint near the waiting halls, and finally entered the usual waiting hall used for the ₹300 darshan.
Even there, confusion continued.
There are two possible exit doors from the waiting hall, and nobody was sure which one would open first. Some devotees sat near one door, while others gathered near the larger entrance. We decided to follow the devotees who had arrived much earlier than us and waited near the larger door.
Those two hours until around 2:30 AM were probably the most anxious part of the entire experience.
Then, at exactly 2:30 AM, the staff opened the very door where we had been waiting.
Everyone immediately started running.
I also ran as fast as I could, but after a short distance I genuinely felt I couldn’t continue. I thought people behind me would overtake me and I would lose any chance of standing inside Bangaru Vakili.
But once again, things unfolded differently.
The queue stopped near the last checkpoint before the Mahadwaram for another round of ticket verification. At the same time, a large number of VIP devotees arrived for Suprabhatam Seva, and once again we thought our chances of getting a place inside Bangaru Vakili were almost over.
After the final ticket check, we entered through the Mahadwaram and were briefly stopped near the Dhwajastambham while a temple procession passed.
As soon as we were allowed to move again, everyone rushed towards Bangaru Vakili.
By God’s grace, I managed to get a place near Jaya, right at the end of Bangaru Vakili. Every inch of the place was packed. There was barely enough room to move even a hand. The crowd was so dense that it became difficult to breathe. I also noticed several parents carrying young children, and they too were struggling because of the congestion.
Then, at exactly 3:00 AM, the doors opened.
A thunderous chant of “Govinda… Govinda…” echoed through the temple.
The priests were already in position, and as soon as the doors opened, the curtain remained drawn before the deity.
Then came the moment I had waited an entire year for.
The chanting of “Kausalya Supraja Rama…” began.
The entire temple atmosphere became something I cannot describe adequately in words. I joined in with every verse of the Suprabhatam that I could remember. Those 25 minutes passed so quickly that none of us even realized how much time had gone by.
It remains the most electrifying spiritual atmosphere I have ever experienced in my life.
After the Suprabhatam concluded, the Lord’s bed and bedding were ceremonially taken out, further rituals were performed, and eventually the curtain was opened. Devotees then slowly began moving towards the sanctum for darshan.
Since I was standing near Jaya, I first had to move out of Bangaru Vakili and then re-enter from the Vijaya side. Until I actually crossed the Mahadwaram, I couldn’t see the deity clearly.
Then, after taking just a few steps…
I saw Him.
The divine face of Lord Venkateswara, along with the Shankha, Chakra, Abhaya Hasta, and every divine detail, appeared before me.
It was unlike any darshan I have had during all my previous visits to Tirumala.
I stood there for what felt like two or three minutes, able to observe the Lord from so close. Every detail felt incredibly vivid.
And then something happened that I still cannot fully explain.
The moment I came out of Bangaru Vakili, I could no longer consciously remember those details. It felt as if my mind had entered a state of complete silence. Even now, days later, I feel as though I am in that same peaceful, empty state.
Normally after every Tirumala visit, I return feeling energetic and joyful.
This time was different.
It felt as if everything else had become insignificant after that darshan.
For anyone fortunate enough to receive Suprabhatam Seva, my only suggestion is this: don’t spend the entire time worrying about where you’ll stand. Reach early, follow the queue sincerely, have patience, and leave the rest to Lord Venkateswara.
If He wants you to witness those divine moments from close by, He will make it happen.

Tirunamam

Apada Mokkala Vadu, Akhilanda Koti Brahmanda Nayakudu, Srinivas Sarvabhaumudu is presiding and blessing the devotees in the wonderful sacred Tirumala. The Srivari Temple, which is radiant with natural beauty, sacred holy waters, and pilgrim centers, is always bustling with devotees.

Devotees who come to Tirumala from far away, enduring many hardships to have the Lord's darshan, follow sacred traditions and, having darshan of the Lord with great devotion, attain spiritual bliss.

In that process, while going for the darshan of Tirumaleshudu, devotees show great interest in ensuring they wear the 'Tirunamam' in the Tirumala region. Tirunamam is also known as Srinamam. 'Thiru' means Sri and 'Namam' means tilak. This mark is also called 'Thirumanikappu'. In Hindu Sanatana Dharma, applying the tilak or Tirunamam is considered sacred and auspicious.

Tirunamam is the symbol of Lord Sri Venkateswara himself. Devotees who wear the Tirunamam feel strongly that God is with them and supporting them. Through this, those who wear the tilak behave with good conduct and devotion. TTD is providing Tirunamam application to devotees for free in the world-renowned Tirumala region to enhance this devotional tradition. It is an opinion that the red line glowing in this Tirunamam indicates the soul, and the white lines around it teach the essence of the Supreme Being.

Not only on the forehead, but some devotees also wear this Tirunamam on their shoulders, chest, back, and lower body parts. Usually, devotees apply the Tirunamam from between the eyebrows up to the top of the forehead. It is also the opinion of some that wearing the Tirunamam on the forehead keeps one cool. Those who wear the Tirunamam get a sacred feeling that they are servants of Lord Sri Venkateswara. It is a belief that if one applies the tilak on the Ajna Chakra (between the eyebrows), it protects against the 'evil eye'.

In the preparation of the Tirunamam, 'Namakopu' red vermilion is used. This 'Namakopu' red vermilion is being received by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams as a donation from devotees. For the application of the Tirunamam, a special copper mold with three marks is used. After the Friday Abhishekam of the main deity, the Tirunamam is applied using sandalwood, powder, camphor, and musk in the center, covering a part of the eyes. During the removal of ornaments on Thursday, this Tirunamam is reduced to some extent so that devotees can have darshan of the Lord's eyes.

This Tirunamam, which appears as a symbol of purity, reveals the face of the Lord with more radiance. For this, 16 Tulas of Pachai Karpooram (edible camphor) and 1.5 Tulas of musk are used. Tirunamam application is happening continuously for devotees in areas including Vaikuntam Queue Complex 1, the Rs. 300 special entry darshan path, Vaikuntam Queue Complex 2 for Sarva Darshan devotees, opposite the Srivari temple at Golla Mandapam, Rambageecha 3, Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Kalyanakattha, Supatham, Sri Varaha Swamy Temple, the four Mada streets, Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasada Center, Saptagiri rest house, GNC area, Nandakam rest house, Lepakshi Circle, and ATG house surroundings.

Almost 168 Srivari Sevaks are providing services in two shifts daily for this. Devotees do not need to pay any fee to wear the Tirunamam. TTD requests that devotees coming for the darshan of Tirumaleshudu wear the Tirunamam provided completely free by the Srivari Sevaks and become recipients of the Lord's grace.

Divya Dharshan Tickets Query

I’m planning to visit Tirupati on 17th July and will be doing the Alipiri footpath (walk). I’m confused about the Divya Darshan ticket timings. Some people say tickets are issued from 4 AM, while others say 2 PM.
If I start walking on 17th, at what time should I reach the ticket counter? Also, will I get Darshan tickets for the same day or the next day? Any recent experiences would be really helpful. Thanks!

Donor privileges and darshanam

Hi everyone,
I’m looking into becoming a TTD donor, mainly because my family and I visit Tirumala several times a year and SSD tokens are impossible to get.

What donation amount is required to be eligible for these VIP accommodations, and how many nights can you stay (1–2 nights or more)? I’ll be attaching a few photos of the VIP accommodations I’m referring to.

How does the donor process work from start to finish?
How easy is it to book donor darshan and these accommodations? Is availability generally good, or is it still competitive?

If my goal is to have darshan at least 3 times a year with my family and occasionally friends, which donor scheme would make the most sense?

I’d really appreciate hearing from people with firsthand experience. I’m trying to understand whether the donor privileges make the process smoother and are worth considering for frequent visits.

Thank you in advance! 🙏

We are a family of 4 with darshan receipt for Supatham Entry (this was via donor segment)

It is our first time coming with kids and we are not based out of India.

Our arrival to Tirupati is on same day as darshan, any guidance of what are dos/donts. The darshan is slotted for 12pm-7pm on a weekday (Thursday).

Given its our first time with 2 young kids, I want to make sure I am not missing anything. Here is what we have

Darshan experience

I had one of the most emotional darshans of Srivaru. Those few seconds in front of Him were truly magical and something I’ll cherish forever.

But unfortunately, the crowd management by TTD was extremely disappointing.
I genuinely don’t understand the purpose of assigning time slots for Special Entry Darshan if the crowds aren’t managed accordingly. Once inside the queues, it was complete chaos. People were constantly pushing even though we’re all ultimately headed to the same place. There was absolutely no need for that level of panic.
The pushing was so intense that people were getting shoved in the abdomen and from all sides. There were elderly devotees struggling to stand, small children getting squeezed in the crowd, and women trying to protect themselves while being pushed relentlessly.
Volunteers and security should intervene more actively when people start pushing instead of letting it continue. Time slots should actually help regulate the crowd, not just determine when people enter the queue.
The darshan itself was divine, but the experience leading up to it was physically exhausting and stressful. I sincerely hope TTD improves crowd management because devotees shouldn’t have to risk their safety just to have a peaceful darshan.

Srivani darshan from Bengaluru

Hi Everyone, I have one doubt regarding Srivani darshan booking.
I’m tracking the Srivani airport quota tickets daily, but it feels a bit risky. The Bangalore to Tirupati flight is landing only around 11:15 AM IST.
Also, if I try on July 23, will I have any chance of getting Srivani tickets for October through the online?
If anyone has recently booked through this route or has experience with Srivani airport quota, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Govinda Govinda 🙏🙏
