Where to get tisas parts

I picked up the buds exclusive ds 1991 carry comp a couple weeks ago. Love it! My first 2011 style and I'm hooked. Only two issues I have with it. One, the screws that come with it for the optic mount I know are junk. I had some extras to try and I can't get them in. Tried by hand to get them started and nothing doing. Did some research and they're the right ones from what I can tell. The threads keep boogering up. Don't know if it's the predone lock Tite on them or what. Second is the optic plate itself. One of the mount holes for the actual optic screws to go into is notched like part of it got milled off. Anyone know how to get in touch with tisas customer service so I can get a new one and find out about the screw threading issue. Or know anybody that makes an optic plate for these since they have the built in cowitness sight on the plate. I don't mind to buy on if I have to. Thanks for any advice you all have.

New Raider

Picked up a new Raider in God’s Caliber. Just wondering if I should plan on it being a “Jam-o-matic” with lots to do to make it reliable? If so what upgrades might ya recommend. Also looking for an OWB holster recommendation. The Colt version of this pistol came to the USMC years after I left, but I’ve been wanting one so I now have it. Can’t wait to get out there and shoot it. She’s all cleaned and ready to go.

UPDATE: 7-4-26 🇺🇸 I am happy to report that it is in fact NOT a Jam-o-matic … Ranged 50 rounds (Winchester White Box) and NO malfunctions. 👍👍

Best sights for Tisas 1911 DS MCO pro

Just grabbed the Tisas 1911 DS MCO pro and pretty excited. First impressions on sights is meh. For a duty ready gun, I dont see how you would effectively operate it at night. Was wondering if anyone had suggestions on different irons for it. I really like the Glock 19x ameriglo front, with exaggerated U cut back, so wasnt sure if anyone had a similar option. Will eventually put a Trijicon RMR on it, but want quality day/night irons as well. Appreciate in advance any thoughts!

Couldn’t choose so I got both

I liked the PX-9 gen 3 Duty so much that I had to get the carry version. I have no regrets. These cost me a total of $600 and they are my favorite to shoot.

Tisas shipped a 38 super in a 9mm gun

I bought the Tisas 1911 commander 9mm, the upc is 711500175265 Or, TISAS 10100121
This is not the dual 9mm/38 super combo it’s just the 9mm. Even says it on the box and the trigger housing tag.

This is their newer and recently imported 9mm commanders I believe. Haven’t heard much about it so I snagged one anyways. The deeper I looked, the rear sight is off to the left, it has a 38 super carry caliber barrel NOT 9mm, and the barrel/bushing are respectively loose fit. I dropped a 9mm and 38 super carry dummy round and it’s absolutely in fact, a 38.

I have no idea how that happened but I caught it after I got home. Has anyone dealt with Tisas customer service? This is a huge error on Tisas as it’s supposed to be 9mm not 38 super carry.

New 1911 finish issue

I just picked up this brand new 1911 TC in nickel finish today. I carried it IWB for 8 hours and the finish around where it was in contact with my body is turning black. I’m not familiar with nickel plated firearms, can someone enlighten me?

Nearing 2k rounds

I'm coming up on 2k rounds through my Tisas DS and this thing just runs. It runs whatever ammo I feed it from cheap 115gr range ammo up to some various +P loads. No issues with Tisas mags, Prodigy mags, and various Kimber mags (17, 19, 20s). This gun has singlehandedly helped me decide to shelve my striker guns and venture deeper into 1911/2011 waters. As it sits, the only parts changed have been the springs, trigger, and grip module. I love the classic styling.

Talk to me about your px9 Nightstalker

I'm looking for a duty sized pistol that I could potentially use in carry optics and is reliable enough for home use. I love all the Tisas pistols as far as looks but I've never owned one.

Did you ever have any issues? Any quirks or parts that should be immediately replaced?

Tisas Duty R ( reliability )

I had one back in 2020 and it was a good shooting gun but I had several issues with FTF . Later I realized it was probably needing better springs . But I'm wanting to jump in and get another one, I have heard they have improved the quality of all their firearms over the last couple of years. Is this true? I mostly see reviews on their newer gun models and all the old reviews were from the year I had mine and some people had issues with FTF just as I did.

Temu Staccato

New addition to the safe, threw my old TLR1 and a prime day osight k on it. Seems like a decent pistol to augment my collection of striker fired stuff.

Wrapped up with a Raptor

Love TISAS firearms. Call em budget, sure, but they feel nice, shoot well, look good and hold up. Add this blue-triggered beauty to the collection today.

Red Dirt Trigger, avoid

Causes reliability issues and extra failure points. Gun won't fire with magazine in. Near 2k rounds before install never 1 failure. After install worked for 400 rounds and the RDT has failed. Now frozen trigger

What should I do (upgrades) to this bad boy? Nightstalker .45

Yes before you as it is a Wilson combat mag. It’s tight as hell for some reason on the release, I think I need to work on it a bit. I love how the grips look they are perfect for the gun I just hate how they feel if any of yall have any recommendations to replace them with im more than happy to hear them. Other than that i love how it shoots just need a chest rig for it for hunting season.
