I am a weirdo about constantly looking things up on the internet. So I tried a couple things I read to make my plant flourish… i messed it all up and this is my very first plant. Im very sad its pretty much dead. Please any advice on getting it to come back would be greatly appreciated
Since I often don't erase nvram before upgrading, I took screenshots of each FT screen to speed up reconfig after upgrading to 2026.3. I have one problem that may/may not be casued by my previous upgrades without mvram clear. I grabbed the .trx, clicked the box that said "erase all data in nvram" and started the upgrade. Everything seemed to go fine, I got thanked for upgrading to the latest version. Then I started trying to connect to the GUI at 192.168.1.1, no joy,, With my workstation IP set to 192.168.1.2, if I pinged 192.168.1.1, there was nobody home...After a bit of banging my head against the wall, just for the HELL of it, I tried going back to my workstation's default config, that being a DHCP address of 192.168.240.2.. And voila!! Freshtomato 2026.3 was STILL configured... In other words, nvram was NOT erased... WTF?? The issue I have with USB printer support NOT seeing my Brother printer, yet doing lsusb shows the printer is detected just fine... One more time WTF??
Anybody got any ideas??? (and yes I KNOW I checked the "erase nvram" checkbox.... Thanks
