Bad summaries! Give me some recs and add a bad summary—be as ambiguous as you’d like! (Also this most likely will have spoilers so reader beware)

- Girl likes boy. Boy likes girl. Boy leaves and becomes a man. Comes back and is like hey babe let’s rule together. Girl says no. Boy gets mad.

- Hermione has some conversations with a convict. Who then traps her in a marriage after she trips and falls on his dick.

- Hermione and Tom are pen pals.

- Hermione is trying to date Avery. But Tom keeps cock blocking.

Hi all! Looking for a fic that I’m pretty sure I follow but can’t find right now. Tomione are both taken in by the Notts. I think junior has a crush on her. They think both tom and Hermione are pursebloods (tom made up some story I think) and Hermione feels guilty about lying about it

That’s all I remember! And it’s a school fic where they attend hogwarts together !

I think I just had a divine revelation.

Wouldn’t it be so good if one of you talents wrote a tomione fic with severance AU where hermione’s innie (like mark s) falls in love with Tom who owns the company (like Helena Eagan). Tom would be roleplaying as an innie and would probably “join” Hermione’s rebellion against his company while also trying to make a connection with her outie self.

HAA I’m daydreaming about this fic as I write this!! So many possibilities and opportunities to combine both of those amazing stories.

I could actually see Tom having an innie eventually, which parallels well with his soul splitting obsession.

outie hermione would definitely be plotting against the company too, just like outie Irving did.

They would all read Lockhart’s book and get inspired lol, and while outie Hermione despises this crap her innie develops a crush on him.

Harry is definitely the missing wife lmao.

But really no matter which role we put on those characters, I feel like it would still be so interesting and exciting to explore.

So I just wanted to put it out there for anyone (pleaseeee someoneee) to pick up, or just to hear what you all think about this concept.

Just thought about it and Tom would be such a good character as an outie and innie. His outie self is leaning towards the Voldemort persona while his innie still develops his evilness hahaha. And while innie Hermione striving for reintegration, innie Tom wants the whole body. I’m losing my mind someone pls write this.

I recently read a post about invictus and one of the comments said that she's problematic. I am quite curious as to why, so if anybody knows, could you pls let me know???????

I'm looking for FFs where Hermione actually dies, and Tom saves her. That could be one of these situations:

1. Hermione dies, and Tom uses a time turner to get her back (Similar to "I will make you proud" but the other way around).

2. Hermione dies for a few minutes/hours during a battle, or whatever other situation, and He loses his mind during the time she is dead; I want him to be destroyed, crying, holding her, etc. She is then revived through medical assistance/magic.

3. Hermione and Tom fall in love, and she dies, and he uses whatever means he can to bring her back or uses a time turner to get her back.

4. Hermione is depressed going through whatever, and she tries to kill herself, and He loses his mind and feels responsible for it (maybe he was mean, etc).

Basically, I want Hermione to die for real for a while, and I want to see him losing his mind over it; or falling in love with her while trying to save her.

Any FF in those categories would be appreciated. Please let me know a bit about your recommendation and which situation it would fit. Thank you!

I just finished reading jormungander for the second time

and i can't even describe how i feel this fic is my fav by far and i hope it's not abandoned and if the author is here i wanna tell her you are amazing and really talented

Can we talk about how delectable and rich a peppershark story is? Like I blew through all of them and I have only seen this caliber of writing in classical literature. There is always the most thoroughly researched settings. You would never see a single item misplaced in the wrong universe unless it was intentional or a clue that would be a plot point later. Her prose is so on point and culturally accurate that you can hear the character's voice in your head, whether it's a deep southern accent or a sharp, witty millennial's emo thoughts. She's not all over tiktok and instagram and tumblr advertising her fics, but they deserve way more engagement than they get. Let me tell you why.

Exhibit A: gloss

A complete, rare Tomione HEA with such a unique writing style that I was taken aback in the first chapter, but as I read on I fell right into the thoughts of Hermione as if they were my own. The manipulation, the cat and mouse dynamic, Tom's obsessiveness... Chef's fucking kiss. It's an excellent starting point for a Muggle AU if you're on the fence.

Exhibit B: Tiranë

A WIP in canonverse. A time travel story with a twist on the laws of time that jumps right into the action. Like second chapter and tongues are down throats. We love to see it. Knowing peppershark, it's going to be like no other time travel fic we've seen before, and Hermione being older and a mom? Such a unique take on her character.

Exhibit C: wolfer

The ultimate historical romance but a history I wasn't even aware of until this fic revealed it to me. When I tell you this fic has me in a chokehold, I am gasping for air, begging on my knees for an update. Tom isn't the dark academia pretty boy we know and love - he's street smart, rugged, wild, and just the person to corrupt preacher's daughter Hermione. It's incredible how peppershark took the Tomione push and pull and dropped it right into a small town in the 1800s. I can't even call it a muggle AU because it's anything but... and I won't spoil it for you, just read it. PLEASE.

Exhibit D: price of water

Canonverse, time travel, Omegaverse... how many more perfect tropes can one fit into a single story? And no, Hermione isn't traveling back in time... this is FUTURE time travel, into a DYSTOPIAN future. The lore is insane, I can't even begin to tell you, so you just have to read this for yourself.

Exhibit E: The Butcher King

I have no words, so just look at these tags. Just look at them.

• Tom: the delicious and regal warrior king gleefully wreaking havoc on the countryside

I made this post not just to talk about how incredible peppershark is, but to encourage everyone to read her fics and post comments and stuff because her fans are DYING FOR UPDATES. Remember that in fandom, engagement matters. Your kudos matter. But most of all, your COMMENTS matter. Any writer I've talked to will tell you that nothing keeps them going and motivated to write than a comment on their fic. It doesn't have to be long, or profound. It can be a gif. It can be some heart emojis. You can copy and paste your favorite lines. Just please, comment on these fics you're reading. Nothing is worse than an author abandoning a great WIP because they feel like no one reads them. (If peppershark does that I will literally pass away with wolfer).

I finished Invictus by Greyana and recently picked up When Merlin Asks About Love, I Respond With Cruelty by ppatatos, but they seem too similar to me in terms of worldbuilding + beginning plot (malfoy is bffs with tom, hermionie goes back in time and is a journalist, etc etc etc)... does it eventually differ?

Is it just me or begged, cigarette smoke and purple are very Tom coded? Listening to these three specifically reminded me of his avoidant attachment style and I'm craving the angsty, intense, all-consuming dynamic. What fics would you pair with each song? Bonus points if there's agonizing yearning or lyrical prose.

Hey, guys, so as the title says, I'm looking for slice of life fics because while I love that tomione is usually very angsty and dramatic, I would also love to see them just live life together on a more day to day basis. I'm in the middle of a million fics right now because I'm impatient and start fics when I want to, so oneshots and fics on the shorter end are appreciated, but longer fics are also welcome!
