I would offer some queer advice though, these flags don't just connote boys and girls, or men and women. Many Non-Binary or Gender Non-Conforming people also use these flags ... Or sometimes even the opposite! My boyfriend, for example, who is trans masc, uses the lesbian flag. The more you know!
