hey, so a few months ago my brother got into an accident and i was in the car as a passenger. I didn’t think anything of it since I wasn’t behind the wheel. Now I’ve started getting letters saying I owe money and that ignoring it could mess with my license or something. I’m kinda confused because the car wasn’t mine, I wasn’t driving, and I wasn’t involved with the insurance policy. My dad is apparently getting similar notices too. Is this just part of the normal process after an accident, or are they somehow trying to make me responsible for it?
