What should I do first?

Hello fellow Adventurers,

I recently re-installed Toram Online after a massive five-year hiatus. The last time I actively logged in was during the 6th Anniversary events and the similar period, now stepping back into the game feels like waking up in a completely new world, even though I was a part of it.

​Back in the day, I was flying blind—I didn't follow any optimized progression paths, I just leveled and played.

Well....i used to watch quite a few Youtubers to know what to build and how to farm, etc...But even after watching them i still did whatever and however I thought so. Now, my account is effectively a Time Capsule of outdated setups, and I’ve forgotten almost everything about the core mechanics.

​I’ve uploaded an 11-minute video showcasing my entire account setup. Here is the timestamp breakdown so you can easily check my gear, skills, characters, or stats:

​0:00 - Equipment & Items: 6th Anniv Katana IV (+4), Assassin Garb / Valentine's Costume, Lace Headdress, Machina Ring, and inventory.

​3:00 - Skill Trees & Combos: Tier 4 Mononofu (Tenryu & Zantei Lv 10), Tier 4 Halberd (GSW Lv 10), and Magic: Impact combos.

​6:40 - Avatars & Registerlet: Current cosmetic avatars, stats, and gem cases.

​9:00 - Emblems & Quest Progress: Lifetime achievements (42,708 mob defeats) and Main Quest (Ch. 11 "Off to Toram").

​10:45 - Character Stats & Alt Slots: Lv 200 Katana Main (255 DEX / 247 STR), plus old low-level alt characters (Lv 57 Mage farmer & Lv 56 Halberd farmer).

​A quick note on my characters & builds:

While my previous setup was a Katana main paired with low-level Mage and Halberd farmers, I am not locked into continuing with these exact characters, jobs, or builds! I am completely open to resetting, switching mains, adopting new meta farming classes, or taking entirely fresh account progression pathways depending on what works best today.

​Because the game has evolved so drastically, I’m hoping to tap into the community's collective knowledge—not just to figure out my next steps, but maybe hopefully to spark a helpful discussion for other returning players getting back on their feet.

​1. The Modern Toram Experience (What's New?)

What are the most significant quality-of-life updates, system overhauls, or mechanical changes that have happened over the last few years? What fundamental feature did you wish you knew about sooner?

​2. Current Combat & Class Metas

With Tier 5 skills now in play, how has combat shifted? Is Katana still top-tier for solo/group play, or are there other DPS classes (Dual Sword, Bow, HB, etc.) that are much better suited for returning players? What do current DPS combos and stat allocations look like?

​3. Modern Spina Farming & Farmer Builds

My old Lv 57 Mage and Lv 56 Halberd farmers are extremely outdated and they were not even completely made as farm characters. What are the current gold-standard farming builds (e.g., Ninja Mage, LUK Bow/HB) and best farming spots/markets for a broke returning player to build up Spina?

​4. Account Triage & Next Steps

Given my fresh-slate mindset and ancient gear, what should my day-one priority be? Should I rush through the rest of the Main Quest to hit the level cap and unlock Tier 5 skills on my Lv 200 character first, or should I pivot to building a proper modern farmer/new character right away?

Ish been a while my Beloved Lemonies!!! To count the days I've been gone... it's 20 days in total!!! Yay!!! (Not my best record yet) But welp as you can see in the photo I posted today... I'm with my irl friend! 😖 (in-real life) He's not in the right condition tho... because of his uhh dunno but he said his throat is kind of not good today... 🥺😭 He can't breath properly... It's really worrying... But I'm hoping for him to recover before the Monday comes!!! 😣😣😣 As for me...

My current situation these past few weeks is really not good either, not physically but mentally 😭 why does it really hard to improve myself... Why does it really hard to be loved by those who I really cared about... Welp nvm that 😖 I'm already happy if they're happy, as long as I can see their smiles even without me on their side. I'm already satisfied...

I also learned that even a simple little dimple wimble 🥰😊 mistake could changed everything... as long as you did something that they wouldn't like to see or to have... Welp

My katana build is so buns any max lvl katana players tips???

I searched in the app store only to find that the game is not compatible with my device for some reason i got a one plus 11r with snapdragon 8 gen 1 it's more than enough anyway to fix it?

i have enough spina to upgrade my equipment though

How im looking at the screen right now still farming for sand mole meat for this fuckass quest on chapter 3(started at 1am with over %500 item drop rate and all I'm getting is sand mole skin. It's 4am)

Don't buy these! I made them a while ago so i could lv smithing, and gave em away for free. they aren't worth 1m, im not even a maxxed smith lol. In general i sell my stuff in stalls so if you see gear with my smith tag '[thecosen]' in cb thats not free its a reseller
