A few weeks ago, I made a post here looking for people who felt slightly misaligned with the usual social circuits of the city.

I wasn’t expecting much.
A few messages turned into a WhatsApp group.
A WhatsApp group turned into real people actually showing up. Now we are almost 50+.

And within days — we’ve already had our first meetup.
No one knew each other beforehand. No social scripts, no forced networking energy. Just people arriving as they are, and somehow ending up in conversations that lasted hours without effort. Till now, we’ve had 5 meetups and collaborations with other grievances in Toronto, July is almost packed with events and hangouts.

Different backgrounds, careers, personalities — but a shared underlying thread: curiosity. The kind that makes people open to new places, new faces, and unplanned evenings.

We’ve had people into fitness, photography, climbing, psychology, literature, design, music, travel, food, and a few oddly specific passions.

So I’m reopening it briefly before capping again.

For context: the group already has a male majority, so I’m intentionally shaping a more balanced dynamic (especially lgbtq and women) in terms of participation and energy distribution (my Libra brain doesn’t tolerate imbalance). Age range is ideally 20–30, though a few socially dynamic outliers are welcome too.

Who this is for:

(People who are genuinely outgoing and participate actively)

• Those seeking genuine friendships across Toronto / Mississauga / GTA
• People open to spontaneous plans and new environments
• Those who can exist socially without needing performance, alcohol, or noise as a crutch

What this looks like:
• Cafés with actual conversation
• Trivia/ Philosophy club events
• Park days / Toronto Islands energy
• Food exploration without overplanning
• Board games, light chaos, good company

One more thingy, this isn’t about scale. It’s about coherence.
A small, evolving circle of people who are comfortable being themselves without overthinking the room they’re in.

• Morning availability (8:10 a.m. to 11:15 p.m.): Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays

• Afternoon availability (1:10 to 4:15 p.m.): Tuesdays and Wednesdays

• I cover the cost of the registration fee as well as any x-rays if they are prescribed by our on-site dentist.

• Full treatment typically requires 4-6 appointments (just over 3 hours each) as every step is checked over by licensed dental hygienists.
