Phone upgrade

I currently have an iPhone 11 on a $30/month plan with 15gb of data. I want to upgrade to a iPhone Air. One of the purchase options is to pay $14.58/month for 24 months. Thats only $350 for a iPhone Air but if I just buy the phone it's $949. Am I missing something?

Sick of all the texts

I get probably 5-10 promotional texts daily! Every time I opt out, then I get another one an hour later, opt out of that and another one . This happens multiple times a day I'm about to switch to another phone service because I'm sick of this shit!

5g plus now way slower

About 2 weeks before the new plans were released I noticed that my coverage got really bad and I'm on the 5G Plus and I was wondering what was going on and then the new plans came down in my plan is now legacy or whatever grandfathered and it's terrible now you would think it's base or something. Has anyone else had this issue?

Total w auto pay

Total Wireless needs to fix the issues with their updated website immediately; none of the automatic payments are being processed. I have recommended the service to many friends, and all of them have ended up with their service deactivated because of the automatic payment failure. It is frustrating, and I am considering leaving Total.

Port from Verizon Prepaid - But Wi-Fi Calling Now Not Available and RCS Chat Not Available

I decided to move over to Total Wireless from Verizon Prepaid with the introduction of the new plans - specifically the new BYOP plan. After receiving my sim yesterday, I initiated the activation. The port itself was slightly less than smooth and I needed chat support in order to get that completed.

At the end of the process, however, I note that RCS messaging is no longer available. In fact - when I go into settings, it states that RCS chats have been disabled by your carrier.

In addition - I no longer have Wi-Fi Calling. In fact - even the option to enable Wi-Fi calling has now disappeared from settings where it used to be.

Chat Support mentioned that it could take 24 hours for those features to be enabled - however this seems odd to me as I have not heard of an activation where only some of the features of the account are activated and some are activated later??

Both features are must-haves for me. Specifically, the Wi-Fi Calling. I live in a very remote area where Verizon coverage is the only option - however even indoors it can get spotty. Wi-Fi Calling is a necessity where I live and prior to yesterday was certainly working on VZ Prepaid just fine. Without it I will need to go back to VZ - however it's hard for me to believe that Total does not have it.

Do others find that the chat support's assessment is correct? Do I just need to be more patient? Will it just appear like a magician's assistant at some point in the next day or so?

Partial porting

I decided to transfer to total wireless this was friday, after about an hour my phone started working but the account was not created. So i called customer service, and even had my old phone company on the phone with them to fix the issue. I was told ok it should fully transfer at midnight, saturday morning not able to create my account because it still didnt fully port on total wireless end. Called them they see that the old company fully ported the number to them they escalate it and here i am tuesday and still the same reaponse is they will escalate it, because apparently the other people who say they were esaclating it did not process it.

Hoping someone from total wireless can help to fix this.

Price is different everytime I log in

I've had 5 lines for about 2 years now. Occasionally, service has dropped due to autopay issues. Now that the new plans were released, I unfortunately seem to get a different bill each time I log in. I am just posting this so I can chat with someone to make sure everything is ok.

My normal price is $105 (taxes included), and it's shown everything from $115, $124, and now $145 due.

I’m currently on a Total Wireless 50% off plan, paying $25 per month. On the Total Wireless website, I noticed an option to upgrade to a newer version of the plan. However, the price displayed is $30. Does this include the auto-pay discount that would bring the price back down to $25?

Tablet Promo

Whenever I try to buy a tablet that is on a promo, like the TCL Tab 10 NXTPaper 5G for $49.99 with an eligible plan.

Under choose your offer, I click the $49.99 and the qualifying plan, add to cart, and when I'm in the cart, the tablet is FULL price. That's what happens if I am signed out.

When signed into an account, the $49.99 option under choose your offer doesn't exist?

Can someone at Total fix this issue? Customer support didn't help me either.

Has Anyone Used Total Wireless International Roaming?

The new Total Wireless $25 BYOP plan includes the following international roaming perks: 10GB data, 300 minutes, and unlimited SMS.

Hmm ... beats whatever Fi, Tello, and Verizon offer for short-term international travel, which makes me suspicious and wonder: has anyone used Total Wireless when traveling outside the US? What was your experience?

BYOD Buy 2 lines get 1 free

Is there an official announcement about this? There a multiple post on here about people seeing it. Has anyone successfully had it applied? 3 lines for $50 is a steal and will get me to switch from T-Mobile.

Anyone else's amount due jacked up after update?

My amount due went from $30 due on 9/18 (prepaid until then with points) last night to $210 due 6/18 this am?

I know they are undergoing some website maintenance, but was curious if others were seeing this, especially those who prepay with points frequently.

Just got scammed.

Last month I was offered a “better plan” for a trial of $80/month for 4 lines for 5years with auto-pay if I gave up my legacy plan. Today, a month later, my fourth line was disconnected and I have to pay $30 extra to get it reinstated. My next bill is set to be $120/ month.

Don’t fall for this scam.
