Cacio e pepe was really good!

This was my first time trying it and I was really surprised at how tasty it was! What are some of your favorite dishes?

Ordering a second rack

Been looking on the website and on eBay haven't really found anything. I wanted to have a second rack for situations where I could make use of two racks in the oven. Anyone had any luck with this?

Cooking meatballs

I’ve been using the Tovala system for a while and have really been enjoying it. Tonight was my first time cooking meatballs, and holy crap did they make a mess. How have others been cooking them to avoid the splatter?

My second oven in 6 months bit the dust.

My second oven in 6 months bit the dust.

First it started counting down in a delayed fashion, ie every 1 second countdown took 10+ seconds.

The next time I used it, it started beeping like a possessed R2D2, turned off, and never turned back on. Unlike the first oven that died on me, this one does show a green light in the upper dial, but nothing else.

I talked to Tovala and they were once again fantastic, sending me - once again - a brand new oven. (this will be my 3rd).

During my previous warranty claim, I was asked to cut the cord and dispose of it properly. This time I offered to send it back for research purposes and they have taken me up on the offer. They will send me a return label along with the new oven and have asked me to box up the old one - using the new one's packaging - and fedex it back.

I am really hoping Tovala will get to the bottom of these ovens premature deaths and find a solution. As a user of the system, nothing is more annoying than having the oven go out and be without. On the flipside, this can't be very profitable or fun for Tovala either, though, once again, their customer service has been top notch throughout this all.

Anyway, let's hope they get this under control!

Should I Order a Tovala??

I'm a newly single mom to a teenager who will eat anything. I work full time and would like to try a meal plan that doesn't involve me basically cooking like Hungry Root does.

I'm trying to decide if its worth the extra money to try Tovala instead of Tempo meals? Has anyone tried both?

Do you feel like Tovala offers fair healthy meal choices?

I've been trying to research weekly costs since the meals online dont list prices....do most people pay around $13-15/serving? I typically try to keep our dinners around $20 total, but with prices rising at the store and not having to keep the mental load of planning a week of meals, I feel like this might be worth the extra expense.

Appreciate any info yall can think of!!

Chocolatier Brownie - does it need to be frozen on arrival?

Packaging doesn't seem to indicate it. just wondering when cooking in the tovala oven. Seven minutes seems like a long time for something that microwaves in like a minute.

Chicken and Rice Soup

I think the Chicken and Rice soup is my favorite meal right now! I order a couple every time it shows up but I wish I could order it more often. So good and comforting!

What are your favorite meals that you are always excited to see?
