Should I buy Accel first?

Currently at 905 gems, getting back into the hardcore grind a bit. Looking to either get brawler or Accel. Already have Necro and Engineer, no interest in grinding for hacker. Wondering if Accel is still worth it after all the nerfs

This has gotta be the dumbest thing ive seen in tds in the past 2 years of playing it

My teammate just placed a medic to "help" his mili bases but it was doing nothing. He defended it saying "It's gonna speed up the spawn" and I said "That's not how spawn towers work 😭😭😭" and we lost in wave 15 cuz of his stupidity (this is badlands btw)

The requirements to enter PW2 should be higher

When saboteur was released Polluted wasteland 2 got buffed

And when the update just came out people just go like

"hell yeah let's do Polluted wasteland 2!"

I don't have any problem with that but the real problem here is the teammate I get. Most of my teammate bring a tower that is not suitable/good for pw2 and if that happens there is a super duper high chances that you are gonna lose. From my experience a lot of people decided to bring an intermediate tower (It is acceptable if it's the golden version) and of course! "Couldn't forget this tower because when i didn't bring it I will instantly get a seizure and die!"

THE FARM

Like seriously. Pw2 should actually not allowed peoples to bring farm. And here's a story, when I called someone's out for bringing a farm they legit just say "Shut up don't judge me" Like HELLO? BUDDY?

The second there is someone place farm that is already a garunteen lose

The experience before pw2 buff is so different because people actually have enough braincell to bring turret and not regular minigunner in matchmaking

And now everyone just want saboteur which is the reason why some people struggle to get saboteur because little Timmy decided to bring militant and place it where DJ belongs

It would be great it dev increased the requirements to enter pw2 because I can't handle these people and I don't want to do solo pw2

i have 1.2k gems rn, but i dont know if i should buy brawler now or save up for other towers, i alr have accel and im missing the other for, and i wanna know if brawler is worth it or save up for any other tower

Haunted castle.

Description: a castle that has a lot of soul inside. other tower needs to deal damage for it to help you.

Price: 5500 gems

Gimmick(IMPORTANT): for every damage your other tower in the haunted castle range, it will consume turning it into souls

ABILITY :

1. THE LAUGH OF SOUL: When the emperor first appears it will laugh and stun all enemies for 2 seconds and slow all enemies and the one about to spawn by 15℅. Can only do this ability when it spawns

2. THE REINFORCEMENT: Emperor of souls will raise the ground and spawn 2 knight souls and an elite cavalry soul. Cooldown: 45 seconds

3. SOULS HARVEST: When at least 3 enemies are within 20 range of the emperor. The Emperor will grab all enemies' souls within 20 range, dealing 125 dmg and count them into souls in the haunted castle. Cooldown : 30 seconds

PASSIVE ABILITY

ACCOMPANY OF SOULS: When the Emperor of Souls appears all towers deal 10℅ more DMG

[Help wanted]

i dont know if im being delusional or not, but i would like to be helped to beat pw2. i am lvl 117, my loadout is militant biologist crook boss GOLDEN pyromancer and commander. i have the rest of the towers excluding merc pursuit gem towers trapper and medic. i know i kinda am asking for a hard carry, but i still would love help if someone can.

so, im level 120, have a golden pyro and miss pursuit because of saving for it. i have no idea how to progress more. get a gem tower? another gold? pursuit? and if pursuit whag after. what should i do to progress faster in this horribly long grindy game and what can i do to make it better guys

What the fuck happened to the optimisation

I just lost a game of hc cuz I was running on 2fps and couldn’t manage pursuits I was in wave 47 and I was using engi,g cowboy,accel,pursuit and merc base I’ve beaten it with that loadout before and there was never this much lag the devs ruin something with every update and something needs to be done

Alternative for Militant

What would you all say is a good alternative or replacement for the militant tower? I've been using it for a while and it used to be quite helpful for me. However, as a level 40+, I don't really think it holds up anymore and needs to be replaced. What would you all say are some good offensive units to replace it with at level 40+?
