Discussing the rupture occurring in the the Tower

This discussion is assuming you know the ending of S3 in the manwha.

I’m sure this has been discussed a bit and it’s an old topic but I wanted to have my own.

We know the families tension is at an all time high. Especially with the current dismantle of the Lo Po Bia and Jahads declaration of destroying the Poe Bidau family.

Is the tower heading toward a civil war with more families involved? If that’s the case what would the sides be?

I’m under the impression that the Khun and Ha families would loosely follow Bam based off previous experiences and facts we know about the families. The Khun leader seemed to rebel in the past (during the hidden floor) and there’s no reason to believe why they wouldn’t again. Especially if A.A becomes a serious target and Edahn feels disrespected.

As for the Ha family. Yuri Ha loves Bam and the Ha family are very protective of their family. There’s no reason to believe why they wouldn’t defend their honor.

There’s also reason to believe that the Arie family would support Jahad.

I could be wrong about these families but if chaos amplifies. Where would the rest of the families side?

I really hope the dialogue and fight art is better. I also hope we see more of team sweet and sour, more of whats going on in other parts of the tower before we get back to vaam

Eats Who?

I started the webtoon again. I finished chapter 122 and this is crazy. The anime is still better, but I am invested in the story

What's your most controversial take regarding ToG?

With the spin off changing many established lores like about axis and all, and none knows what the future holds, how the story will play out, what's that one take that u have will be most controversial in the fandom?

Older Readers of the Webtoon, what was your headcanons for Zahard before he officially appeared in the webtoon?

Like what do you think he looked like or his personality before his debut?

Just curious as a newer reader of the webtoon

So... exactly how many plot points and character arcs do we have right now that still need to be resolved and wrapped up?

Just asking out of curiosity... It's been a while since I last read the story, so there's a chance I've forgotten something important.

For those who still have doubts

Since it seems some still have doubts, in chapter 53 of the spin-off it is confirmed that both mago and the other brilliant ones are also irregulars and beings capable of killing Zahard and the 10 family heads

Are there many transdental beings in the outside like admins, headons?

It seems Shining One and Urek are very familiar with divine or transcendental beings, so does that mean there are several transcendental beings outside? If so, it can be reason why Urek wanted to fight the Admins in the early episodes.

Urek timeline

- As the story goes, there was initially only darkness, followed by the emergence of light, the birth of civilization, and the "Shining Ones." Then Phantaminum appeared and defeated all the Shining Ones, turning them into gems; the Shining Ones transformed into "Light Devourers" (whether they were brainwashed by Phanta or driven mad by a desire to shine again—while simultaneously being awestruck by Phanta—remains unclear).

Later, Urek was born—a new Shining One prophesied to defeat Phanta (a new Axis seed possessing "infinite light").

- Phantaminum became aware of Urek, perceived him as a threat, and dispatched the Shining Ones to confront him.

- Urek was unaware that the Shining Ones had fallen; they taught him how to fight and use his powers (as only the Shining Ones possessed this knowledge), and he spent a considerable amount of time with them.

Urek has grown stronger, shining brightly (perhaps becoming an axis soon), the Shining Ones stole Urek's light and betrayed him. Because they wanted to shine again

  • And then Urek took revenge on them, wanting to destroy them. After that, Urek wandered between planets looking for companions of various races to defeat Phanta and the Light Devourer. He also met several other gods/powerful beings, or even Axes, but they refused. Here he also started recruiting Emperors, perhaps
  • And then a war broke out (if I'm not mistaken, Sanba or something). And then many Shining Ones were defeated and became gems again. Many of Urek's companions were also defeated, died, and reached a dead end
  • Then both sides retreated. And they began to look for companions again, gathering strength and looking for opportunities
  • Urek continued to travel to other planets for thousands of years
  • And then Urek heard and saw Phantaminum, and he chased him but got lost and entered tower

anyone agree?

Jahad power

Hello, I think why Zahard knows about Mahgo and the Shining One on the 2nd floor of the test and he told Eduan and sent him there? Does this mean Zahard knows everything that happens on the 134 floors? Or was he told by someone (administrator, Headon, or the administrator of the 134th floor)?

And if Jahad can know everything, surely he knows Urek is coming and Urek's immense power is so great that even Headon thought Urek shouldn't enter the tower, and Urek (maybe) is a former Axis. Does this mean Jahad is strong enough to consider Urek not a threat to him. But if Jahad really knows everything on all the floors, he should know about Bam and immediately order the military to kill him, but he didn't. And even FUG knew about Bam first.

What about you think?

The Og's And The Spin Off

Good day everyone!

I’ve noticed on the net just how split the community is regarding the quality of the spin-off. From what I can tell, it seems like the veteran readers absolutely hate it, while the newer fans love it—but I could be completely wrong.

Let’s put this theory to the test. Please drop a comment answering two things:

  1. How long have you been reading ToG?
  2. What are your honest thoughts on the spin-off?

Please keep your answers succinct and clear. I’ll tally up the comments in a week and post the final results to see if the divide is real.

Personally, I hated the spin-off. While I'm not quite a Day 1 reader, I've been actively reading the series for about 8 years now.

Don't forget to upvote this post so it reaches as many people as possible—the more data we get, the better!

Question about tower of god

I have multiple questions regarding tower of god, fyi it’s one of my best anime series, regardless of some moments I just wished it came out better. I just watched the anime and have 0 knowledge of manga events.
So what I want to know from manga of events after season 2 is how did bam get his power and who taught him and what happened to him before he joined the clan ( all the mysterious events) ?
Please answer me without big spoiling just mild ones.

Favorite Minor Character?

We all know the heavy hitters like Bam and Urek, but SIU made like 500 unique characters. Who is your favorite random character?

Mine is Dorian Frog, chill dude who summons a giant frog with headphones and wields a staff with tongues all over it.

What If My Favorite ToG Character Was In An Anime That Came Out More Consistently?

ToG is my favorite anime because Hansung is my favorite anime character of all time. But the anime is soooooo slow to come out. It's been almost 2 years since season 2 and we still don't have an announcement for season 3. I need more Hansung anime content, but apparently since ToG is a peasant anime, we have to wait two years for season three. So that got me thinking. What if Hansung was from an anime that came out more consistently? So, which anime would be the best to put him in for maximum screentime?

I was thinking the best anime for this would be One Piece because it's a content farm. We have 1000 episodes of anime, the TCG and Funko Pops and merch. One Piece might have issues because it's been weekly instead of seasonal for decades. But even with those issues, it still has a lot of content. I'm starting to think it would be better if Hansung was in One Piece instead of ToG, because ToG takes too long to come out. I loved Hansung ever since I saw him in the anime, but his anime doesn't come out quickly enough. I did make this post on the meme sub, but this is more of a vent post

Tower of God Number of Characters

With the end of the Spin Off i thought it would be a good idea to waste my Time with a meaningless task of counting Characters

I counted every character that appeared and Interacted with the people
Excluding Shinheue and Similar creatures (though i included Headon). I mainly took the help of the Wiki List of Characters and added the ones in the Korean by Hand

Now for the Numbers you all have been waiting for

Total Character 509
Total Regular 238
Total Failed Regular 97
Total Ranker 211
Total Others 60
Fishermen 50
Spear Bearer 49
Scout 51
Light Bearer 42
Wave Controller 39
Anima 37
Guide 4
Defender 1
Unknown Position 215
No Real Name 27

It should be noted that some Characters of course have several Positions and every Failed Regular is also a Regular.
Some Characters dont yet have Revealed that they are Ranker. For example the Po Bidau Police Captain or Isas Ademone. Those with high certainty are Ranker but for accuracy i have not classified them as such in the document.

Hope you all enjoy the Birthday of Tower of God
