Meet my Supra: Indura

I lurked this group chat for like 2 years and it never occurred to me that like 4 months ago I became a Supra owner. I’ve literally talked my head off to everyone I know and I really just now remembered that I should share my car to reddit. I am trying to build a cool insta page and do a really sick build. My goal is to hit 900+HP with likely a PTE6466

I’ve attached some cool pictures since receiving the car. My instagram handle is attached if anyone would like to support my build and journey into content creation.

Here are my stats:

2021 A91 3.0 Premium. 1 owner only

Purchased in West Virginia. Drove 6 hours there and back to Tysons, VA where I live. The market was terrible in NOVA.

~50,000 miles at purchase
(57,000 on the odometer now. 4 months later)

Came with
- Borla exhaust
-MST intake
-Active autowerkz catted high CEL downpipe
- CTS aluminum charge pipe
- Blackline engine cap, washer fluid cap, fuel tank cap basically all the caps are red in the engine bay.
- currently bench locked never been tuned
- Sparco rims
- Bridgestone winter tires

So far I’ve only bought:
- AeroBon CF duckbill spoiler from amazon $300
- Uniden R3 (am terrified of FCPD but lowkey i have it unplugged and dont use it bc i drive chill) $300
- 15mm in the front and 10mm in the back spacers $100 (bought from a friend)

and I just ordered an FSPE Supra rear diffuser/Valence but UroTuning has told me their supply has ghosted them so far… 😬

Anyways, any thoughts, advice, words of encouragement, or warnings. All is welcome. Love you all and I absolutley love this car!

I bought it anyway…

Everyone called me stupid, told me not to buy it. I bought it. Now you can watch the progression. Driving it in the next video.

Talked him down from $6k to $5,500. 💰

Which discontinued MK4 interior panel can you NOT find anywhere?

I'm a mechanical engineer (CAD/design) and a Supra fan. Going through the NLA lists, I keep noticing a bunch of interior dash & console panels that Toyota discontinued and that nobody seems to reproduce — center dash, top dash, sub panels, that kind of thing.

I'm looking into whether it'd be worth reverse-engineering and reproducing some of these on demand for owners who can't source them anymore.

Before I put real work into it: which discontinued interior/trim piece have you been unable to find for your MK4? Trying to see if the need is real. Not selling anything — genuinely researching. Thanks 🙏

$6000 2020 Toyota Supra Launch Edition (39 of 1500)

Making a big decision tomorrow, if I’m buying this Supra or not. $6000 for it. Clean title, 20k miles. Runs and drives. But look at this body damage (owner took a hammer to it when he got mad).

What would repairing this body work cost me? Where do I get parts? Any advice?

Just bought a used 2021 with clean carfax at 36k miles, would like advice on preventative maintenance and reasonable prices.

Just picked up a used 2021 GR Supra 3.0 at 36k, previous owner was a distinguished enthusiast gentleman and serviced the car religiously at the same dealership I bought it from. Upon ownership, I've looked at the Carfax, and I may need to do a coolant flush and rear diff service since neither was recorded, brakes and rotors are still pretty new, and I plan on doing the oil changes myself with 5W-30.

I just wanted advice from anyone who's also purchased a used Supra or someone with more mileage on the same year, what their maintenance schedule looks like right now, and how much I should realistically set aside to afford the maintenance and properly enjoy the car.

Spooly Boy MK5 Supra Discussion

Seen a lot of people getting destroyed on forums for asking about this or wanting to know how its done, so thought I'd provide some guidance from my basic knowledge.

Looking to do something to my A90 Supra similar to how my HKS turbo setup was on my S14A, for all the good spooly boy noises required. Not as clued up on B58 and BMW black magic that makes it all work, but the concept is as simple as it was back in the day:

  1. Weld the internal wastegate closed in the stock turbo housing

  2. Add external wastegate and screamer pipe, though if too loud may reroute it back into the exhaust like I did in my S14A (Sound deadening underneath didn't exist back in the day apparently)

  3. Enjoy spooly boy noises and have people tell me online that I'm destroying my turbo, as if taking a few months of life from my turbo isn't worth it.

  4. Profit in the JDM department.

Feel free to let me know about any BMW magic that may stop my plan, and I plan on going hybrid or big turbo at some point so another reason that turbo health means little to me.

New Supra Interior

Hey guys,

What are your thoughts on the new interior. Finish installing it probably tomorrow.

All made by ETi, came out epic. Full carbon plus custom stitched alcantara.

Custom Supra Lights

My partner’s Supra he did with a pandem kit. We currently do wraps and some printing but now have been installing and making custom parts and we’re thinking of going this direction starting with a limited run of the headlights. Wanted to get everyone’s opinion on the lights.

Please note this is my partner’s car, we’re out in Illinois and just getting feedback and this is my first post.
