Is it manageable any tips for dealing with it is it safe unless you stand on the roof or do you have to actively keep low to combat it when boarding and riding

By trainhopping i mean climbing on moving trains. Isnt trains in europe too fast to do that?

Ive seen some people mentioning riding through Portugal in here. Did you manage? Ive heard its not really nice out here. Im looking to plan out a short ride for summer with a friend; ride through Portugal and, if possible, to Spain, Basque Country would be nice. If anyone has experience riding in Portugal please let me know. Thanks a lot :-)
