GE UM20, an Experimental A-B-B-A Diesel Set Built in 1954, When the Streamliner was Becoming a Thing of the Past
This A-B-B-A set was trialed on the Union Pacific and Erie railroads, but it never saw revenue service, and no production of further examples ever happened. This set was cut up for scrap in the early 1960s.
