J.K. Rowling posted an upskirting photo of a trans woman to her 13.7 million followers in retaliation for said woman refusing to unblock her on Twitter. In response, Gina Martin — lead campaigner behind the UK's 2019 upskirting laws — came out in support of Rowling's victim, Freda Wallace.

It is a common conservative narrative to hate on trans people. The liberals have become fervent supporters of transgender rights.
