first remote job, thinking about spending a few months in Thailand, how much do I actually need?

Just landed my first fully remote position and Thailand has been on my mind for a while now. Always heard it was one of the cheaper places to live but I have no idea what a realistic monthly budget actually looks like for someone trying to keep costs low.

How much are people actually spending month to month on accommodation, food and getting around? Is it as cheap as everyone says or does it add up quickly once you factor everything in? Would love to hear real numbers from people who have actually been there on a tight budget.
