Put the stampede into a curb. Not sure what I need to replace on it as it still connected but the attached pieces came off. Both front wheels are facing the opposite direction.
Slash 4x4. Smoke came out near the gear/motor and doesnโt move as fast. High pitched noise and the gear off the motor looks worn in the middle. Just a simple replace to fix?

Recently got this TRX4m and Iโm loving it. Installed some brass parts, new driveshaft, Injora 53mm springs along with the โrear suspension mod.โ
The ERide can go 60mph which is absolutely insane! I was very impressed with the traxxas for how it did! My traxxas has Proline Powerstroke shocks, center diff and other cosmetic parts. The ERide is stock.

My buddy gave me his 2.5 T-Maxx that was given to him. He never ran it, and the guy he got it from was the original owner that, I'm told, takes care of his stuff. I would love to get it running before he moves away at the end of the month. This is my first nitro, and I know absolutely nothing. I know it's an older model, wasn't sure if there was a model number on it so I could start some research. Nitro guys, where should I begin?
The motor was cogging badly with the 18T speed gearing, so I swapped back to the stock 13T pinion. Itโs still cogging, so I pulled the motor apart to inspect it. It was running pretty hot. no thermal shutdown, but it had a strange burnt/electrical smell. I donโt feel resistance when spinning it from the shaft. Itโs an older 2-pole VXL-3S system. Does this sound like the motor is cooked, or could the ESC be causing it? Iโm getting a Max10 + 2400kv anyways. It if it is still good, I can rebuild it, Iโm putting it in my TRX4.
I have had this RC car for a few months ( Since the new year) and I broke it a few times, I have replaced one of the pinion gears, don't know which one, and I just now replaced the driveshaft with an aluminum one. Now it is making a grinding sound, I have no clue what's happening.
