Birthday tomorrow and I want to get a Trx4 Defender or an Axial CJ-7. I keep waffling between the two. Help me decide! Any help would be much appreciated!

I’ve got a hoss that only turns the wheels if I’m holding it. When I was driving it for the first time after a few minutes I noticed it quit pulling wheelies then eventually it stopped moving.

Hey guys, im restoring my UDR from 3 years ago ( it blew the motor and i was younger and didnt afford a new genuine motor)
Can someone recommend a great budget motor?
I intend on keeping it 6s with stock esc.

Another question, are aliexpress motors any good for 6s?

Hey guys, has anyone ran a Slash 2WD with Pro-line transmission?
I have recently upgraded my son’s truck and right away, went with what proline suggestion for the lowest opinion for a pinion, which is a 15T and it was running extremely hot, so I popped in a 13T and it still seems to be getting too hot, I guess I could’ve got some temps, but it was definitely too hot to touch for any length of time. So I’m asking anyone with experience with this transmission what 32P pinion did you run in yours?
His truck runs on 3S with the VXL-3S esc with an older 3500 motor ”which was rebuilt”, slipper clutch spring, is clinched about halfway down,new MIP axles, new bearings,new aluminum carriers. Everything rolls normal and smooth when the pinion gear is off. I have an 10T and 11T but at this point that seems extremely low just to get the temperatures down.
Any thoughts?

I was thinking of carrying around a lil toolbox with tools and spare parts to fix my stampede 4x4 vxl, and I was wondering what parts to buy. I don't have a lot of cars right now, (this is my only one) so I haven't collected 1000's of spares like the rest of yall. (Yall are crazy with all that btw). Just curious. Ty!

I recently got the Traxxas paddle tires for my 2wd Slash. Put them on went for a bash in dry sand, didn't make any wheelies and lost drive after a few tries already. There was smoke coming from the clutch. Haven't had such issues at all with this car for a full year. I guess the paddles have a lot of grip?

Took it apart and found the nylon nut on the clutch the nylon had melted and the nut came loose... Put a new nut on and put the clutch a bit tighter.

Next week went out again with a tighter clutch and hooray it did wheelies, for a little bit untill I lost drive again. The spurgear lost it's teeth. Upon inspection of the spur the little bearing also got really hot the week before, the metal was all purple

Am I the only one here? Did I do something wrong? Do I need to be more carefull with throttle application.

Hey So My WIDEMAXX cant wheelie It has PROLINE TRENCHER 142MM Tires 4S LIPO 20/50 Gearing instead of 23/50 so a little lower Means better Acceleration , All DIFFS STOCK FLUID , VMAX About 65KMH , When I Put it in a Wheelie position it can do it but otherwise not , when I throttle the Rear squats but cant take the front Wheels Up , calibrated everything , Really Good acceleration but no Wheelie , Also not in training Mode

Does anyone know if Traxxas is planning to release an updated/new version of the Bandit anytime soon?

The Bandit platform has been around forever, and I'm considering buying one, but I'm wondering if I should wait in case a refreshed version is coming.
