Bruggeman and Ruiz placed on Developmental List
I can't really explain in my own words what the Developmental List is, so have a look if you are curious. I didn't know it was a thing, but it makes sense to me, in a way.
The corresponding moves are OF Aaron Graeber and INF David Mershon.
Max Geig stumps umpire
I checked out the pitch tracker from last night’s game. When Gieg got on the mound, it felt like the strike zone really shifted. Glad to see that wasn’t just in my head. Umpire didn’t seem to have a problem with other pitchers, but for whatever reason Gieg had him confused.
Snead’s Six Perfect Innings Stifle Spokane in Tri-City Win
Nate Snead day indeed! What a performance by the young man last night! Wish Bilardello would have given him the green light to continue, considering he had only thrown 58 pitches, 44 for strikes, through 6 innings. But alas, he was pulled after the 6th. The Dust Devils would go on to a 2-1 victory, but not without some scares.
I'm not sure if manager Dann Bilardello is trying to instill an aggressive mindset, but the boys need to brush up on baserunning 101. The number of outs they have run into this series is astonishing, nay, its mind-blowing. So many run scoring opportunities squandered by terrible baserunning decisions.
QUIT RUNNING ON MAX BELYEU, THE DUDES GOT A CANNON. And clearly, the boys aren't nearly as fast as they think they are 🤣
Game 4 tonight at Avista Stadium at 6:35PM
Go Dust Devils! 🌪 Lets get another dub!
