Hello, does anyone know of a restaurant that absolutely does not have seafood on the menu?

Ciao, qualcuno conosce un ristorante che NON abbia frutti di mare nel menù?

Ciao a tutti. Sono uno sviluppatore indipendente. Mi sono reso conto che i navigatori classici ti fanno fare sempre la via più breve, infilandoti spesso in vicoli bui o parchi isolati la sera.

​Così ho creato un'app gratuita (e senza pubblicità) per Android che calcola percorsi pedonali sicuri e illuminati, con tasto SOS e condivisione della posizione live.

​Chiaramente l'app non ha la bacchetta magica e non può "creare" strade sicure dal nulla se non esistono, ma il suo scopo è analizzare il territorio per offrire sempre la migliore alternativa possibile tra quelle a disposizione.

Il punto è questo: l'algoritmo matematicamente funziona, ma niente batte la conoscenza reale di chi vive la città ogni giorno.

​La mappa cambia anche con i vostri feedback delle strade e l'algoritmo impara.

È anche possibile segnalare pericoli ed eventi (zone di rischio come degrado, spaccio, risse, buio, ecc.).

La richiesta: il motore è pronto, ma per farlo funzionare al meglio serve che inizi a formarsi la community locale. C'è qualcuno che ha voglia di scaricarla e iniziare a dare qualche voto o segnalazione sulle strade?

Si chiama Ares Maps (essendo nuova il Play Store la nasconde, per trovarla dovete scrivere esattamente "Ares Maps evita i pericoli").

I’ve got such a late flight to Trieste that lands at 23:50 next week (27th) so I miss all busses/trains to Sistiana ( it was the only flight that day) so is there any other solutions as taxis are going from €70-100 even goopti and pre booked are so expensive!!! I 'd like to go on city break during the weekend. I'm from Croatia and I'd like to leave my car in Trieste and jump on a train and travel. I already visited Venice by taking train from Trieste, and visited Verona many times. What other interesting destinations are manageable to reach by train from Trieste? 2-3 hours of train travel max.

I’m going to Trieste for the first time and unfortunately I only have one full day there.

I’d love to get some recommendations from locals or people who know the city well:

• What are the must-see places that I absolutely shouldn’t miss if I only have one day?
• Are there any less touristy places or hidden gems that you would recommend?
• Where would you recommend going for dinner? Ideally somewhere with good food and around €30 max per person.
• Is there anything else you would recommend doing or experiencing while I’m there?

I’d rather get recommendations from locals than just follow the usual tourist guides.

I am a working professional who got relocated to beautiful Aquileia in Friuli, Venezia Giulia. I am 100% home office and work in Modular Software Development.

I recently noticed that it's quite hard to find new friends if you work in a 50 hour per week high paced environment 100% from home with only overseas colleagues.

I am a sports fanatic, I love biking, swimming, running, badminton or any other sports. I like nature, hiking, classic cars, traveling, drinking wine and beer and having quality conversations.

I am 420 friendly as well (not looking for a hook up 🤣)

I speak native level English and German and I am doing my B1 Level in English this autumn.

Does anyone happen to know what happened to the “beach club” that was between Muggia and Porto San Rocco? I was surprised that it did not reopen this year.

Did it go bankrupt? Is it looking for a new owner?

It’s such a nice location…
