I love the mech
As someone who is a fan of this series's, and Warhammer for fantasy wars, I must admit I love holding lines near extraction and willingly not escaping just to save the others. Makes me feel like a god compared to the bug advance
Controls can feel floaty and unsatisfying. Is it a controller thing?
I've asked about this before and was told it's a common complaint because the game was chiefly designed around KB+M. Have the devs ever talked about this. I love the vibe of this game but I never play long because of how the actual gameplay (movement, aiming, recoil) feels.
Starship Troopers: Extermination Development Update (August 2026)
store.steampowered.comLoading screen..
Would they ever add like a dropship loading screen where you are sitting with other players landing on the planets at the beginning like in the movie? Or is it a bad idea.
new mode idea: a map where players can build an outpost and go explore freely
so this game have some maps that are huge, so a map for like 8 players or something, each player can build an outpost wherever they devs allow it, and then can explore freely, clean some places from bugs, trigger some public events about killing a big bug or clear a dungeon, some events about defending the little outpost, etc
so besides playing the normal modes we can have our little outpost to log in, alone with randoms or with our friends and just chill or something while enjoying this starshiptroopers universe
if you have played fallout 76 you understand what do i mean
but dont make it survival where ii need to worry to eat and drink
Anymore updates?
Does anyone know when we'll expect any new patches to the game? I mean it's a really good game and it has amazing feel, but it's got tons of these little dumb UI bugs that would be so easy to fix it seems weird they haven't just released quick patches to sort out these issues.
Dumb things like
* Can't leave barricade mode while using a building tool
* sentry guns that keep shooting even though they have no ammo.
* Turrets that shoot the edge of walls and bunkers so you can't aim
* Turrets putting you in front of the gun when you get out
(sometimes causing you to lag half way into the ground unable to move)
*Bug bodies jam turrets
* Sentry turrets are super hard to reload sometimes especially inside walls
* Walls can be hard to place sometimes because big limbs prevent placement even when not in the way.
Like these aren't game breaking but super annoying when your fighting massive hoards of bugs.
I want to also note that I don't think its obvious enough that the shower is for healing, the skin should be updated so people can tell what it is for.
30 Tips To Help You Play Advance And Secure And ARC Mode
Hey there troopers, I just shared this in the game's Discord and I wanted to make sure I can reach more people so that they can have a better first time experience with Advance And Secure and ARC. I made a gameplay tips video where the focus is on class specific tips to help ease you into mastering AAS and ARC. If you got more tips that I didn't cover then share them here and in the video's comments field.
30 Tips To Help You Play Advance And Secure And ARC Mode:
Tips for last mission of tutorial?
Halfway through the mission the difficulty ramps up and it's impossible to maintain the base while doing the objectives and surviving.
The endless respawning of huge waves in between objectives makes it really frustrating.
Any advice for those who beat it? I tried Engineer and made it further but still no success.
EDIT: I beat it but the achievement i think only works for the building tutorial and not the solo missions tutorial? Very odd. Wish we got something else for it.
Had a blast last night
Love some threat level max modifiers shame we fell just short but man was it a fight.
