The build went smooth. I have an APC/UPS 1350 from Schneider Electric connected with a PowerChute software. Installed Windows 11 Pro via Media Creation Tool with License Key. Enabled EXPO, HDR, Download Drivers, Updated BIOS, Installed BitDefender because my family has a License for another device, Downloaded Discord, Steam, Xbox App, and BitWarden. Bought Minecraft, and started playing. Once per day I have been experiencing idle crashes with various different error codes and different Mini Dump analyzation results that were puzzling, even with windows verifier running in an attempt to locate something more specific and concrete in Mini Dumps. One by one I diagnosed things and still got crashes after every move. I disabled EXPO, I reinstalled all the drivers-(AMD Chipset/NVIDIA/LAN/Ethernet/Audio/Bluetooth/ASUS Support Divers), I uninstalled BitDefender and activated Microsoft Security, Checked Microsoft Integrity by Running SFC & DISM, I checked the SSD Health with Powershell, I did physical RAM tests with MemTest86 on two separate 4 Pass runs, Considered Memory Context Restore & Power Down Mode, configured Windows Power Settings, OCCT Stress & Thermal Tests on CPU, GPU, & VRAM, Booted with One Stick of RAM in slot A2, and the step I’m currently on awaiting another potential crash is Onboarding with the GPU completely removed. I have absolutely no idea what to do if it does or doesn’t crash with this next test because if it does I suspect CPU Memory Controller or Motherboard DIMM Slot issues. If it doesn’t. I’ve isolated the issue to the GPU, which I would still have no resolution to because rather than a faulty component, I would think it’s some kind of settings I’m unaware of when the PC is idle. Here are compiles of SOME of the different readings analyzed from Mini Dumps, but I believe they are more misleading than one would initially suspect:

Crashing and Freezing

Recently my computer has been crashing and freezing around 4-5 times a week usually daily. I've tried to work out whats going on before and I thought I had fixed it a few days ago when I reinstalled some drivers. The PC is around 2-3 years old with a new GPU installed December 2025 (No issues with that) - I checked full compatibility before installing.
Today it has started crashing almost every boot a few minutes after I sign in or during sign in, it hasn't happened now for longer than usual but I'm still sure it will come back in a few hours or less.
I am using:
- B6607H7-M20 Motherboard with intel B660 chipset (The bios is outdated I'm going to update it and report back here if that fixes it)
- 16GB SK Hynix - 2 * 8gb sticks
- RTX 5060Ti 16gb Vram with driver version 32.0.15.9186
- Intel i7-12700
- WD Blue SN570 1TB SSD
The freezes happen at any time from gaming to streaming or just sitting on my home screen with no apps open. I've checked event viewer and everything and I'm at my wits end with all of this. Thank you for any help provided.

Edits:
I have the PSU: Power supply InWin B65E 650W V2,
Bronze rated entreprise not made for gaming, this seems to be the most likely culprit so I am going to run more tests.

Galaxy Book2 on Windows 11 keeps suddenly crashing/restarting today - anyone else facing this?

Hi everyone, I really need some help because I’m getting worried about my laptop.

I’m using a Samsung Galaxy Book2 on Windows 11 Home 25H2 (Build 26200) and today my laptop suddenly started crashing / restarting / shutting down unexpectedly multiple times. There’s no proper clean shutdown — it just crashes and then reboots.

I checked Event Viewer and I’m getting Kernel-Power Event ID 41 and Event ID 6008. The worrying part is that Event 41 is showing actual bugcheck codes, not just a normal power loss:

  • BugcheckCode 340 = 0x154 = UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION
  • BugcheckCode 30 = 0x1E = KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

This happened multiple times within minutes.

Important background

Last year I had BSOD issues on this same laptop and at that time I ended up changing the SSD. After replacing the SSD, the laptop had been working completely fine for a long time, so now I’m confused whether this is another SSD/storage-related problem or something else entirely.

Recent thing that may be related

I had recently installed the Windows 11 update KB5095093 (June 23, 2026 Preview Update).
Because the crashes started happening, today I uninstalled KB5095093, but the issue is still happening even after uninstalling it.

SSD health / current checks

I checked CrystalDiskInfo and the SSD currently shows:

  • Health: 98%
  • Temp: 35°C
  • Media/Data Integrity Errors: 0
  • no obvious SMART failure signs

So now I’m stuck because the SSD looks healthy, but the system is still crashing.

What I want to know

Has anyone else on Windows 11 / Galaxy Book2 / recent 25H2 preview builds faced this exact issue with:

  • Kernel-Power 41
  • UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION (0x154)
  • KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (0x1E)

If yes, what turned out to be the real cause?

I’d really appreciate help with questions like:

  • Does this look more like a Windows update / driver / BIOS issue?
  • Could this still be SSD / NVMe / storage driver related even if CrystalDiskInfo looks fine?
  • Is there any way to identify the exact driver or component causing these bugchecks?
  • What should I try first: BIOS update, Samsung drivers, chipset/NVMe driver reinstall, memory test, or something else?

I genuinely need this laptop for work and right now I’m scared to even use it because it’s crashing randomly. If anyone has gone through something similar and fixed it, please tell me what worked.

Thanks a lot.

Install problems

I installed cinamon on an old Asus laptop just to try it out and after a snag or to was able to install it. Played around with it for a while and liked it well enough.

I decided I wanted to dual boot to my pc used the same usb, turned off secure boot set the boot order to prioritize the usb install media and... the pc booted in windows. I tried switching usb ports and double checked the boot order but it seemed to be right. Still booted in Windows.

Specs if its relevant:

intel R UHD Graphics 770
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 TI
Samsung SSD 980 pro 2Tb

Also my copy of Windows isn't activated(i'm not paying Microslop for their spyware)
I also disabled all of the ai feature I could

Black screen/crashes

Hi everyone

Been dealing with intermittent GPU related crashes on my ASUS TUF 3080 (bought used from a miner in 2023). Sometimes it runs stress tests/games fine for hours at 360W+ board power, other times it blackscreens or crashes in less than 2 minutes. PC occasionally won’t boot (GPU lights off) until I do a full power drain.

At first I thought it was a temperature issue since I originally had similar crashing problems when I first got the card (it would quickly hit over 100c and power off.) Since then I’ve repasted around 2 years ago with Arctic MX6 and currently the temps are fine considering my cases airflow with GPU around 70c and hotspot at 80-85c at max load).

Then I reset all my graphics drivers + updated vbios and still have the same issues. I’ve noticed it mostly when playing games such as BeamNG or MSFS 2024 (though it also happens with stuff like kombustor or cinebench gpu tests)

The weird part is it could be running a game perfectly fine for like 15 minutes then you leave and come back 10 mins later and it is crashed (the rgb glitches out, audio glitches sometimes, the display signal is gone, and the pc needs to be fully reset)

Currently I believe (and hope) that the problem is my psu setup not my gpu finally giving up. I’ll admit, I’m running a cheap off brand (Gamemax) 700w power supply that I was able to get from a friend when I had nothing else (the catch is that one of the 8pin pcie connectors on the psu side had melted during its use in mining with a 3080ti connected to it) Now I know how stupid it is to use that power supply but back in that time I didn’t really care as I wanted to just use my pc with the gpu I saved up to buy. Since my 3080 has 2 connectors for power I used the non melted 8 pcie 8pin and for the other one I used a somewhat sketchy cpu eps to dual pcie cable adapter. That ended up being the setup for 2+ years until now when I’m facing these problems.

I’ve provided a picture of gpu z while running msi kombustor and then a picture of earlier today after a crash where the pc would not post and had a gpu light (notice the gpu rgb lights are all off). After another power drain it boots back up but I haven’t tested anything heavy as I want to stop risking it.

How can I stop the cylce

Ive been addicted to Pornogrophy fpr almost 5 Years, and im 14 yeras old. Every time I tell myself that it will be the last time I can stop for multible days and then randomly get the urge and loose controll. Its been like this for almost 2 months and I just feel miserable, i just want to know how i can stop loosing myself.

My other big problem is doomscrolling. Every time I'm bored in the slightest I grab my phone, eventhough I know how bad it is for myself and my brain. Its like i cant do anything else in my free time.

If you were kind enough to read this, im asking for some advice on how I can stop and finally break free from the cycle

What could i be doing wrong on my xbox one

Hi i have this old xbox one i'm trying to get working that i'm guessing the power supply went cause it won't power on it just makes a sound no lights so i tried using a standard computer power supply i tried two ones a HP 702304-002 with a weird pin layout and the other was a dell power supply with the standard 4 pin cpu and 24 pin motherboard here's what i did for both note i only have 5 wires for this xbox 2 12v 2 gounds 1 red and 1 blue no gray

i also watched this video showing the blue wire isn't used https://youtu.be/GTd-3Ad-fGU?si=PvITDU9cN5OrMnn4

HP P1 connector i used this https://fabozzi.net/installing-normal-atx-ps-in-hp-elitedesk-800-g2/

2 yellow to 12V cable on xbox

2 ground cable to ground on xbox

P2 connector

i just tried to use pin 2 since that was the closet that was 5V but when connected i used a multimeter and it was only registering about a volt even with the power supply fan spinning

i also tried pin 3 for the five volt also didn't work

Dell power supply

this one i tried putting the 2 12v and the 2 ground into the 4 pin cpu

and the 5V into the Red 5V on the 24 connection that came up with about 2-2.5V on the red connector and the fan on the xbox started running and for a short sec i heard the xbox one startup sound

both i also tried jump starting the fans incase they were not registering it was on as well both the 12V wires were coming up as 12V on a multimeter but even after this i don't even have the sound coming thru like when i tried using my broken original xbox one power supply

Update: tried also plugging the red wire into the purple 5V standby on the dell power supply still nothing

I’ve looked up a few different solutions, restarted and reinstalled multiple times. I’ve tried running the PlayGTAV.exe and everything. I don’t know what to do. Any time I retry and gain any progress it goes up by 0.02GB. Anyone have any solutions?

Thanks!

Certain Apps Will not open and then Crash. Fixed with reset and then the issue came back a week later

My DoorDash, banking apps such as my credit union, PayPal, venmo, etc, plus Canvas for my classes attempt to open and then crash. I have also had increased battery drain.

A few weeks ago I had this problem, backed up my phone to the computer and reset through iTunes. This fixed the problem! Battery back to normal and apps opening like normal. About a week ago though the problem randomly came back.

Phone is up to date, tried reinstalling apps, reset cache, reset network settings, reset all settings. The only thing that worked was to reset the entire phone and reinstall. Problem came back though. How do I troubleshoot this?

I have crash logs but am worried about if it would contain personal info.

I really need the help of the community regarding this if anybody knows how to fix it

I’ve currently encountered due to a cyber security restriction on my account that I’m not able to be recommendable on my business page. I’ve heard from people that if you run Ads for two days, maybe the system will reset if anybody knows how to re-enable recommendations that would be great.

THIS keeps happening!?

Editing multicam podcasts. Switched from MacBook Air to MacBook Pro M5 24GB because my Premiere kept freezing. I am already using an external SSD (Samsung T7 2TB) and proxies. How can I prevent this from happening every time?

Driver timeouts??

I own a Sapphire RX 7900XT, and handles well. I can currently stuck on version 25.10.2.

I want to be able to use the newest AMD drivers but my graphics drivers would time out, and if I ignore it long enough, my computer would crash too. It would crash over the simplest things, like downloading a game and listening to a YouTube video. I could not even do nothing and it would still happen. If I try to play a game it would happen MORE often.

Is there a fix to this at all? I do use an XMP profile to clock ram speeds to 3600Mhz, 64GB DDR4. I do also boost my CPU so it performs better, and have AMD SAM (Smart Access Memory) on.

Any critique is welcome, but I am on vacation and will be back this Sunday.
