I think Xbox should let players remove a small number of games from their achievement history each year.

If you remove a game, you would lose all the Gamerscore you earned from it too, so nobody is gaining anything from it. This could help completionists with games that have unobtainable achievements, dead servers, or games they accidentally started.

Maybe limit it to 1–3 games a year to keep it rare and prevent abuse.

Does anyone know why the #Xbox25 would show Alan Wake 2 (2024) as my first XBOX X|S game despite me having mine since day one and playing stacks of games on it, including Forza 5 which came out in 2021?

Is it showing first X|S only, non cross gen game as the first game?

Hi, I have 44/45 achievement for Beyond Two Souls, and the last one is “All Endings” I read a guide for it, and it seemed doable, but would take a lot of time, but that’s the most annoying part because I already have 50 hours in this game.

I had played from “Homeless” to get the “Everyone is dead” achievement and I joined the infraworld, go beyond, then months later I came back to get this last achievement, I played black sun, everyone dead, chose life. Then in epilogue I chose Jay, after credits, instead of black sun, I pressed continue which loaded at the start of the epilogue, I saw it as a huge time saver. So I did it 3 times and chose every ending with the credits.

Now I am at Norah with everyone alive, I will play until black sun then I will do the endings with that one where you fail to press the buttons and die, that too. At the end I have to replay black sun 3 times, 1:fail to go through souls to shut down the condenser. 2:chose beyond 3 chose life, then I’ll do the same thing with epilogue.

So that’s my plan. But in the guide it said - reload from black sun, but I pressed continue and I am not sure if it counted, I am so exhausted from this game, 50 hours of the same cutscenes and choices I make makes me annoyed so bad.

So, my question - will I get the achievement or do I need to play from “Homeless” again?

Long shot, but is there anyone willing to help join up and get the (icy dead people) achievement in gears 2?? Have to complete waves 1-50 on a snowblind map. I’m currently doing it right now but doing it solo is just going to take entirely too long. Literally even 1 other person would make it enjoyable 😂😂 I only need 3 achievements and I can 100% this game. My other 2 are campaign collectibles and of course the notorious seriously 2.0 but I’m already half way through that one. But anyway if there’s anyone willing to join up hopefully right now, that would be so sick.

Hey everyone, for the last couple of days I’ve been going through and completing all the achievements for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions of Minecraft, and I’ve finally hit a wall with these last two achievements. I unfortunately don’t have any spare Xbox One controllers to help boost these achievements, so if anyone with two controllers would be willing to help me out I’d greatly appreciate it!

The last few days I’ve also built achievement worlds for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, so if anyone needs help with survival mode achievements then I can gladly help out in exchange!

I used to love reading true achievements for the gamerscore, seeing stallion83 the first to get to a million, and a time later, smrnov taking the crown, reading their games played, occasionally they used to play three version of the same game, but they actually played hard games to completion.

but today, the 2nd July 2026, had a good look at the top 20 gamerscore, and its a sad state of affairs, games completed in less than 30 minutes for 3000gs, and if you have enough disposible income, you could possibly score 100,000 in a Day!!!!

in the top 15, each user has 8.5m or more!

what fun is this! I know i follow 2 of them who have 2 large YouTube walkthrough channels, but has the easiness of getting achievements stopped you trying, and you don't play so much, or just play the odd game, or are you an achievement hunter? leave your thoughts....

I made a post on Xbox Player Voice about this, but I wanted to bring the discussion here too because I know a lot of people in this community care about achievement completion.

There are so many Xbox games with multiplayer, leaderboard, event-based, or online-only achievements that become permanently unobtainable once servers shut down. At that point, players can be locked out of completing a game forever, even if the game is still playable or still being sold.

I’m not saying Xbox should just hand out free achievements. I think the better solution would be some kind of shutdown policy before servers go offline.

For example:

-Patch the achievements so they can be earned offline
-Change them to fair single-player requirements
-Mark them as discontinued
-Warn players on the store page
-Stop discontinued achievements from blocking 100% completion

Players who already earned them should keep them. Nothing should be taken away from anyone. But players also shouldn’t be punished forever just because they found a game late or came back after the servers were already gone.

I’m curious what other people think. Would you want Xbox to handle discontinued achievements differently? And what would be the fairest solution?
