Hey everyone I’ve recently started an Australian True Crime Channel

I’ve recently started a YouTube channel covering Australian true crime, missing persons, and unsolved mysteries. I’m trying to get it off the ground and would really appreciate any support if this is your kind of content.
I’m also looking for case suggestions—especially lesser-known Australian cases that deserve more attention.
You can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/@TruecrimewithEbonyRose
Thanks so much for any support or recommendations!

Does anyone read true crime blogs anymore?

Basically, what the heading says. This is by no means a post to promote myself, so please don’t remove. I’m just curious if people read true crime blogs anymore. Or other platforms like Substack and Medium.

I know majority is podcasts and documentaries, which is how I consume most of it too. But, I don’t want to pour all my energy into a blog if it won’t be seen. I’d rather wait and do a podcast but that’s a whole other thing.

Just looking for honest opinions. TIA!

What is happening in Australia?

I've been binge watching a lot of true crime in Australia for the last few weeks and I can't stop thinking what the hell is going on with police and detectives in Australia? Cases where is clear the victim has been murdered they classify as suicide, they don't hear the victim's family when they say someone should be check out for the dissappearance or murder of their love ones and police completely disregard clear evidence pointing to the culprit, murderers walking free left and right all over Australia, what is going on people? And why is nobody doing anything to fix the clearly faulty police force and detectives?
