Hello there, my name is Martin Eric Hart. I used to work as a cop. Ask me anything!
I was just a... big ass dude. With a regular type dick.
To me, this Is the real season 4
Kate Winslet was amazing un this, a very good detective with a shitty life, it remind me a little bit of Rusty in season 1.
What movies feel like Season 1 to you ?
What does the owl symbolize?
Rewatching season 1 episode 2, when they enter the burned out church there’s an owl sitting on the beam. Anyone know what it symbolizes?
What do you think is the symbolic reason we see this factory so many times?
Do you think Errols property was demolished after season 1 ended?
Turn the comments into Martys search history, right after getting dumped by Maggie:
How often do you think Errol takes his sister-wife into Cockosa?
Just imagine how many hours Errol had spent in these catacombs over decades, gathering bodies, building shrines, brainwashing himself with the religion. Knows the place better than the back of his hand:
Do you think she had been to the catacombs that were on Errols property?
Carcosa
I visited the fortified city of Carcassonne in the south of France last week. French poet Gustave Nadaud’s poem “Carcassonne” apparently influenced Ambrose Bierce’s “An Inhabitant of Carcosa” as the lost city he’s described, which in turned influenced Robert Chambers, LoveCraft and so forth until TD S1 (read this on the TD Wiki).
The city and the castle are impressive! There was an eery and surreal atmosphere, but the plethora of gift shops inside the city took the magic away a bit 😅
They despised each other, but they were the men capable of surviving each other. Marty provided the mundane gravity that grounded Rust, while Rust provided the brutal honesty that forced Marty to see himself clearly.
I can't imagine the sheer shock and the panic the Others must have been in when they realized that Billy Lee Tuttle's house had been broken into and the tapes were stolen. They
couldn't have possibly even guessed who might have been behind it. I wonder who they thought knew about this. I'd love to know who they suspected.
They could have maybe thought it was Errol.
I think only Billy knew about Rust and not others. Plus Rust was out of the picture for almost a decade.
