I got the allotment in SSMC TUMKUR. So my family is in bangalore. I'd appreciate ANY genuine insights on the Overall review of this college from the students studying here about the patient inflow, hostel, college culture, the crowd, academics and if there's any financial hera-pheris .. I couldn't find any clear reviews anywhere.. Google says the inflow is amazing but reddit says otherwise, hostel reviews seem bad too. Is it true?

Also Sikkim manipal in gangtok is also an option.. Would that be better?

I'm from North India and I'll be moving to Tumakuru soon for my B.Tech at Sri Siddhartha. It'll be my first time living in Karnataka, so I'm trying to get to know the place before I arrive.

Actually I wanted to ask a few things abt Tumkur,

• How's the weather throughout the year? (especially monsoon, is it like awsm ?)
• What are the must-visit places around Tumkur? For eg Lakes, hills, cafes, temples nd viewpoints like anything with good vibes.
• Any nearby weekend trippoints? ik Bangalore is close, but what other places are worth exploring there?
• How's the local food and locality ? Any places that i absolutely shouldn't miss?
• Anything I should know about the local culture or Kannada that'll make life easier?

Would also love to hear from ssahe students if anyone's here. Would be nice to know what campus life is actually like.

Hi. I am going to Tumkuru. May i know how is the weather all over the year and how are the streets like how's the traffic? How much will it cost to rent a 1or 2 bhk.

We are situated near Shedhadripuram PU college, used to get water every 4-5 days now the frequency is almost weekly. If they leave earlier it'll be for short duration. How often you're getting in your area. Is it same everywhere?
