Fed up of this… can’t tolerate this heat!!

So , I was looking for a change in job and one of my friend asked me whether i want to work in Tumkuru for a robotics company. I had never even heard of tumkuru before , so I want to know how is the lifestyle there? The more details you can give, the better.

Also I forgot to ask the name of the company, but he mentioned that it is a well known company there, probably one of the big ones.

Looking to buy a water purifier for home in Tumkur and got completely confused after going down the RO/TDS rabbit hole 😅

Current water TDS is around ~120 in summer right now. Not sure how much it changes during monsoon, and honestly can’t wait till then to decide.

Currently considering:
LG RO + UV

Aquaguard RO + UV

Havells RO + UV

Urban Company Native RO + UV (this one actually looks interesting)

I recently read about how some purifiers increase TDS by mixing untreated water back in instead of proper remineralisation after RO, so now I’m paying attention to that too.

Wanted to know from people in Tumkur:
What purifier have you been using?

How has the service experience been?

Which company feels the least scammy with filter replacements/service visits?

Any brands/models to avoid?

Thoughts on remineralisation/mineral cartridges after purification?

Would especially love feedback from people using corporation water.
