I’m a tunisian girl i graduated this year and i’m gonna do masters, everything was going well until my dad go married and decided to stop financing me in general (allowance/rent…). I never worked a day in my life but you know howa tunis works : chambre indiv min 250-300 + transport + masrouf i need a well paying job would you take some of your time and recommend something to me please 😭🫶🏼 (idk abt call centers i tried to ask fl fb but people barely answer)

I genuinely don't understand where this expectation comes from.

If your first job in Tunisia pays you around 1000~1200 TND, why do you expect to be making 5000+ after only a few years? For the majority of jobs here, salaries simply don't grow that way. A lot of positions eventually cap somewhere around 2000~2500 TND, unless you move into a highly specialized field, a multinational company, or work remotely for a foreign employer.

I've seen people with 5 years of experience feeling completely disappointed because they're making 1900~2000 TND. Like... where did you think you were supposed to be at that point?

We're in Tunisia, not Europe or the US. You can't automatically apply their salary expectations to the tunisian job market.

If you start at 1000 TND, getting to 1800~2000 after 5 to 7 years is not necessarily some massive failure. The bigger question is whether you're in an industry where salaries actually have room to grow.

So where exactly did this idea that everyone should be making 5000+ TND after a few years come from?

Hi everyone,

I’m a fresh graduate in Computer Engineering, and I started working about 3 weeks ago.

My engineering degree is from a private school, and I’m currently in the process of getting its official equivalence, so I don’t have the equivalence yet.

However, I also have a Bachelor’s/Licence degree from a public university, which does not require equivalence.

My HR recently asked me to provide the documents needed for the CIVP and sent me the ANETI link to create an account and start the process. However, some friends told me that the employment office (Bureau d’Emploi) might refuse to issue the CIVP until I have the equivalence of my engineering degree.

Has anyone been in the same situation recently?

• Is the equivalence of the engineering degree actually mandatory to get a CIVP?
• Can I apply for the CIVP based on my public-university Bachelor’s/Licence degree, which is already officially recognized?
• Can the Bureau d’Emploi approve the CIVP while my engineering degree equivalence is still being processed?

This is quite important for me because my salary without the CIVP contribution is below 1,000 DT, so the 200 DT CIVP contribution makes a real difference for me.

If anyone has gone through the same situation, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and what documents you used / what the employment office told you.

So I'm soon joining TP Greece and I'm sure others asked about it in the past but I couldn't find any info.

Basically, I'm only taking this job as a stepping stone towards staying in Greece or moving somewhere else in Europe and working in my actual profession.

So I just wanna know how much they pay? And is the salary enough to survive?

Let's say I'm in Greece now and I start applying to other jobs (IT which is my original field) can the new employer just hire me or do they have to sponsor my visa again? How doable is it to change careers there?

For the people who will warn me about TP. I know everything you'll say and I'm aware of the risks and downsides.

Hello everyone, I’m (20F) starting my second year of license in BMC (Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire) at ISB Monastir, and I’m honestly so lost. What possible job opportunities are out there, especially in Tunisia? If not locally, how are the opportunities abroad?
