So I currently own the Astro A50X (long story short I got it for free…). I absolutely love them, they’re genuinely, to me, near perfect. However there’s a couple things that I’ve noticed the Stealth Pro 2 do, that I wish the Astros did.

1. The battery system. The charging dock is great, however, I’ve not got a conventional gaming set up, it’s a tv, with the Xbox etc all on the opposite wall (including the dock), so most of the time I’m using the headphones wireless, until I just plug them in to charge.

The swappable batteries on the TB seem wayyyy more convenient for my situation.

I could put the Astros on the dock every now and then, but I’m in the habit of just putting them on a wall mounted holder atm.

2. The larger ear cups/drivers. The sound of the Astros is excellent, and I can really pin point players in games like Siege, but in games like BF6, it’s not the most immersive sound overall.

With the TB being 60mm drivers, I was wondering how spacious they actually sound to people who’ve experienced both headphones??

Also the Astros whilst comfy, defo do show their smaller size after a good few hours of gaming.

My only worries are:

Mic quality (the Astros are insanely good)

Turtle Beaches older build quality

Software updates, are the headphones now working as advertised, as I did see something about them needing future updates

Only play competitive games, not sure which to purchase. Both are great prices just not sure which is the better buy. Any advice would be great. Currently have the Blackshark but how much better are the SP2 in comparison?

I purcahsed the Stealth Pro IIs about two weeks ago and love pretty much everything about them... other than the extremely painful hot spot it forms on my head after only about 30 minutes of wear. I've looked up this issue aand it seems to be relatively common but there hasn't been any updates or possible solutions for a few months now.

Does anyone have any recommendations for how to help the headband distribute weight better so that it's more comfortable? I do plan on returning them if I can't find a solution but since I love everything else about them, I wanted to try a few options first.

Any advice and imput is greatly appreciated.

Hello my brother dropped his turtlebeach headset in a bowl of milk by accident while eating breakfast. They were immediately dried and put into a bag of rice but they are making a weird screeching grinding noise. Is this fixable?

Is this happening for anyone else? I am still able to connect my Stealth 700 to my PC, but the software freezes every time I open it or during start of my PC. I tried uninstalling and installing again, but same thing happens. Not sure what else to do besides use my iPhone for controlling some settings.

So, I've been thinking about getting the Stealth 2 Pros since they sound like everything I'd want in a headset. However, I do know theres some hardware and build kinks that might need to be worked out, and I know that turtlebeach does separate generations for some of their headsets like the 600s. Would it be worth waiting for a potential hardware update before purchasing? Or is the Stealth 2 Pro itself already a 2nd generation update, and won't be getting any physical changes?

I love my Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2, and they are still my main wireless pickup even after a few months down the line. But Turtle Beach, in your next firmware update whenever that may be, please please turn off the headset's power button's constant blue pulsing effect. It flashes on my phone which distracts me and on my monitor when I have my SP2 tilted back over my temples. Yes I can simply cover the area with black duck tape, but I'd really appreciate it if this blue light would only pop up to inform me that it's fully connected, and then go away unless I'm pressing the power button for any reason. Or at the very least add a setting to dim the light down.

No clue why, no trauma, nothing happened other than regular usage, no charging light, tried used the website to reset it like i have before and nothin

My stealth 600 gen 2's are showing signs of wear and tare and got me thinking to get the Gen 3's. But I notice they have been out already for a few years whats the chances of them dropping a gen 4 this year.

Just did this today the only thing I said on the video which I found out if u connect to the usb to pc or hub it will cause crashes on steam in game so you need a separate usb 5 volt to connect your of wheel to it eill wirelessly connect when wheelbase is powered up and the peddles will show up big thanks to adlast 9593

Hi i bought the stealth pros (gen 1) because they were on a significant sale bc the 2's are out. i like the headset, however i have had some issues idk if this is normal.

When ANC is on, there is a humming noise constantly and i have to turn it off for it to go away. also, when it is a higher volume i hear a constant static if there is sound being played, id have to put the volume to almost half or under half for it to go away.

is this normal? or is there any fix to it? thanks

Issues after latest update

Are they any website I can buy used sim gear on, I’m looking for the button box for the velocity one race turtle beach.

For some time I'm struggling with connecting my headphones to Xbox and I really don't know what to do more. They were connected to my Xbox s by the usb thingy and to my laptop and couple times when I was turning both console and headphones on sometimes headphones didn't connect right away, but then I would plug out usb thingy, plug in again and it worked until it didn't lol. They still connect to my phone via Bluetooth. I hard reseted them as it says on some tutorials, they working, the usb thingy is flashing when it's connected to console I just don't get notification from console that headphones are connected. Any other idea what I can still try before considering buying new? 😭😭

Still loving the audio and comfort, however, there’s still a few things that if fixed would make it the king.

- More sidetone volume and clarity. It was a very small bump in volume after the last firmware update, and it’s still not enough, and it also doesn’t sound very good, it’s robotic and tinny. Just feed the mic directly into my ears please.

- Overall volume doesn’t appear any louder for me, I have to run at max volume on PS5 Pro and Switch 2. It feels enough, but sometimes I feel like I’m just wanting a little more in certain games, but I’m maxed. Makes no difference using different dongles or the charging puck.

- Mute light on the puck constantly pulsing, can it be left solid red? Also could the puck lights be used for other things like battery level. Speaking of which, when powering the headset on, could the voice prompt tell me how many % of battery I have remaining? There doesn’t seem to be any way to quickly check the level without the app.

Other than that, it’s still a great headset.

Bought a Stealth 600 Gen 3, after owning it for a year it has failed.

I have tried hard reset, updating firmware, letting it die and then recharge.

Nothing works, the device will not go above 1% battery life and dies when it is unplugged.

Updating it now is impossible as it’s hard programmed to only update when the headset is 25% or above battery life. (This should be able to be bypassed at the owners discretion)

For the love of god buy from someone else, a headset shouldn’t be this complicated and should last well over a year specifically when the price tag is $100+

This manufacturer uses cheap lithium batteries and cheap parts. They charge top dollar for bottom dollar quality.

It is designed to fail once a year (warranty) has passed.

Turtlebeach will blame your charging port, your cord, software, firmware/drivers, PC/xbox ect but will never own up to a garbage product.

I would suggest ANYONE else other than a Turtlebeach product.

Yes I’ve reached out to support, and NO they didn’t even respond. Horrible company.
