People keep commenting on our connection

I'm largely at peace with where I'm at on this journey. I had a very turbulent, distressing previous relationship that mimicked a TF journey and really taught me how to be emotionally regulated even in the face of strong feelings and so I learned the lessons of unconditional love and healthy detachment then. I'm really lucky to be able to apply those lessons now to a journey that's been strange, confusing, messy but a LOT less wrenching. He and I are friends, and I respect that he's on his own path and ours may never cross again romantically, which is fine! I accept whole-heartedly that had we'd tried to be romantic now, it would be a wreck (and would probably end fast) and his decision to just be friends truly has protected us from walking a turbulent path. I'd rather him be healthy and happy than be with me and I, too, deserve happiness and a person who's ready now to meet me where I'm at. I understand the assignment which is to let that man do him while I do me lol. We have lots of mutual friends so I often see him out and, when I do, we have great banter and it's always a good time. The only thing that's really bothering me is this: I cannot be in a room with him without someone commenting on our connection--even as I try to accept it won't be going anywhere. Someone wanted to know, unprompted, if we were in love (and this was when nothing romantic had even happened yet). A friend said they felt uncomfortable being near us, like she should leave the room and give us some privacy. People want to know what's going on with us. My friend from elementary school who was visiting and who's not in this friend group even said something about it. It's incessant and I do not understand why this is happening. All we're doing is talking. It feels extremely disorienting to me since he's made it clear he sees me as a friend...but no one else sees it that way. It's like the one person who has a say in this is saying 'the sky is green,' and everyone else is saying, 'no, it's definitely blue' and I'm like 'it's probably blue but maybe it's green?' I 'm just not sure what I'm supposed to make of these remarks. They make this all so much harder

I believe my husband is the other half of my soul

And I don’t mean that just in the way that I love him more than anything- I do love him more than anything, but I mean literally. I think that he is the other half of me and I am not complete without him. I wanted to come on here and ask if that just sounds crazy or if that might be truly possible. Without him- before he was in my life, I always felt incomplete, hopeless and lost in so many ways. We balance each other like nothing else does, and he loves me with the same fierce loyalty and patience that I do him. Not to mention, there were so many signs, so so so many signs from God when we first got together that showed me we were meant to be together as if it was pre-planned or we were split before coming down here and not complete until we reunited. Even if this is not the case and we aren’t 2 halves of one soul, I hope beyond anything that we will be together even in eternity because I do not want any life or eternity without him by my side.

EDIT TO ADD- I gratefully still have my husband with me I’m sorry it came across as otherwise

I believe my “soulmate” is French

28 female from England born and raised, mothers from Malta.
So long story short I have always been drawn towards France. I love the country and I love the people. Any holiday I’ve been on I’ve always ended up meeting French people, and some have become friends.
I can speak French to an extent and Very knowledgeable about there culture. This isn’t something I practiced but it always just came into view of my life in things did.
I have this very strong feeling I don’t know what it is that my soulmate is a French man. I don’t know who or where in the world he is but I believe he is French..
when I was in Spain I was on the train and there was à man we was both eyeing eachother but never spoke, I could hear his accent, he was French. I’ve never stopped thinking about him..
I met this man at the bar he was also French we had an instant connection but I was so busy with work I never even went on a date I just went silent..
might sound weird but the body, mind, soul never lies…

Any experiences of this?

Sheesh! ❤️‍🔥

Hi there,

Somewhere between the Irish joke and the underwear joke, I knew I was in trouble.

Now I'm left with a thousand what ifs.

But since you were never mine to have, I'll just sit at the fantasy table, daydreaming about what could never be.

I only hope that someday, somewhere, the love I give is returned.
