A friend of mine saw this strange ... something.. can't tell what it is. And then it disappeared.

I don’t even know what to say, I was in a RadxPol in sneed and got lofted, supposed ~300 mph wind-speeds according to other players, I only got 240 while on radar at a distance. (And before you ask I was panicking and didn’t think to screenshot)

Twisted Dev Logs - Version 3 - May 19 2026

[1.23]

I will begin by saying we are looking at a end of June/July release. This is a bit later than expected, but there are a few external and internal factors getting in the way!

At this time, 1.23 is planned to contain:

- New storms

- New vehicles and variants

- Hail Expansion

- Further Balancing to Income Sources and Storm Power

- Improved backend performance and other optimizations

In an effort to communicate better with you guys, I will be operating a completion board in a thread with each of these features, alongside an overview that includes the testing phase and specific estimated time of arrival for the update.

In addition, there is a leak of the new storms being developed by u/cryonix attached to this Dev-Log! We are very excited to see these new dynamic storms take shape and rule the Keysota skies!

Progress is being made!

A few leaks will be coming out in the coming days with the new map. These were initially planned to be planted in a USB drive in Wakita at the annual Twister Event, however it was scrapped due to the obvious flaw in that who in the world will stick a random USB into their computer in the year 2026!

These images however will still be shared, one way or another. Stay on the lookout for upcoming leaks from the very talented Sjark!

[High Risk Weekend]

I will be completely clear, I thought Americans also had a May Long Weekend like we do in Canada. And from my research, it appeared you guys did, with Memorial Day Weekend. However, it appears that most of you guys are already done with classes by the time this weekend approaches, making it an alien concept to have a long weekend in May.

Anyways, ramble aside, we will be hosting a High Risk Weekend where every risk will be HIGH! We will also be running some additional surprises, including some frozen servers with income on, and maybe a few boosted servers :)

Hi all, was looking at previous days’ tornado paths while waiting for storm formation, and noticed the middle line on some were a different colour than others. Any meaning behind it? I’m a relatively new player (started playing consistently about 4mo ago), so i’m unsure if this was covered in an update note however long ago lol. The pics are as follows: 1st - purple, seemingly what most tornadoes have, 2nd - red, have seen a handful of times before (assuming it’s deaths?), 3rd - yellow, never seen until today (i have no idea what that could mean). Ty for reading even if you don’t have an answer! :)

And that way we can recover investments or interceptors that we don't use, etc., etc., and event variants, for example, Christmas or Halloween, give you 10% more money because they are limited, Something like that

The day was an Enhanced Risk, and the highest an Enhanced Risk could be. But this day wasn't even the biggest day. The next day hosted a high risk. My chase started in Hiram where the Almora EF1 touched down. It was quite photogenic and crossed the road. It traveled in a mainly rural area until it lifted after it struck the extreme south side of Badoura. Then, while it was hitting Badoura, the Sneed EF3 touched down. The tornado immediately gre into a wedge and I took shelter in a farmstead. But it was completely destroyed and I was lifted into the air

I thought I was going to die but somehow I didn't. I fell into a field and captured another picture (A made a comment about it). I then ran through the field and got back to my car which was still on the road in good shape. Then the tornado impacted Sneed at its peak width of 2.2 miles wide. Then, the Hiram EF4 touched down in Hazelton lakes and headed south where it grazed the north side of town. Then it headed south until it crossed the road north of Hiram. Here it was at its peak width of 1.5 miles. Then it would weaken near the border.

After that, another storm fired to the north where a new tornado touched down. I drove up there and was in the north side of Hazelton where the tornado had become almost invisible due to the low amount of lightning. And while the tornado was impacting the national weather service, it had the strongest velocites I've ever seen. Then I saw the tornado due to a power flash and it was a huge cone. I took shelter in a nearby home and got into the basement. But it was no match for the tornado. I got sucked out and got killed instantly. After I spawned back in Hazelton and took shelter in a skyscraper. Afterwards I went to survey the damage after the sun came up and saw slabs everywhere. (Pictures in a comment) This was by far the most incredible tornado outbreak I've chased and I just really wanted to share it with y'all

this tornado had windspeeds of 300-310mph

Was off to the side but it was still 247. I think it would’ve beaten my record of 263 if I was in it
