I’m worried about the seats for my major filling and not even getting a chance. So many people are getting accepted and I’m still here, no news from a single university.. anyone in the same boat?

I’m considering going to UAEU for my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and I wanted to hear honest opinions from current students or graduates.

Is UAEU worth it, especially for an international student? How is the overall experience, quality of education, opportunities, and career prospects after graduation?

I’ve been hearing mixed opinions about UAEU, so I would really appreciate hearing from people who have studied there or know about the university.

so i applied to UAEU a little over a week after applications opened, and my application is still being processed. if you’ve already been accepted (or rejected) as an NLR, how long did it take to hear back after submitting your application? im js curious on what the timeline has been like for everyone.

So I just got a rejection email when my stats are almost perfect in hs ielts and sat, they havent clarified a specific reason, but I suppose its me being a 2025 graduate, could that be?

When I was applying Faculties like Eng and Med was full From fall 2025. But I have been seeing people apply and getting accepted. Is it a glitch, and I should continue my application, or should I stop because they won't be accepting anyone?

guys im still waiting on equivalency, so i haven't applied. i will before next week inshallah. i asked the team and they said that applications are not first come first serve. but seeing so many acceptances/rejection, a little scared.

My brother was applying to UAE University, but he has taken a gap year after high school to improve his academic scores. Right now, he has IELTS 8 and SAT math 800.

He has recently heard some rumors that UAEU doesn't give scholarships to gap year students regardless of one's stellar academics.

IS THAT TRUE? DO YOU HAVE ANY INFO ABOUT IT?

I recently received an admission offer to UAEU for Fall 2026, but my admission letter and portal don't mention any deadline to accept or confirm my offer. The letter only says that seats are limited and that I should respond as soon as possible to reserve my seat.

Has anyone been in the same situation? How long did you have to accept your offer? Did UAEU eventually give you a deadline, or should I confirm as soon as possible?

I'm currently waiting for a decision from another university, so I'm trying to make sure I don't accidentally lose my UAEU seat.

If I accept the UAEU offer now, is there any fee I have to pay immediately? Also, if I later decide to withdraw because I get into the other university, would I have to pay any fees or face any penalties?

Also, does UAEU allow students to withdraw after accepting an offer, and is this a common or normal situation? Has anyone here gone through this before?

I don't know if this is helpful to anyone but I called registration office today and they told me if you don't hear anything back before the start of August you should contact them

hello, i am just wondering if anyone knows if a non local is eligible to get accepted into aerospace engineering at uaeu with a highschool average of 98.4, and which type of scholarship they are eligible for if they can get accepted?

Hi Everyone, I'm considering studying Bachelor's in Data Science and AI at CIT this fall and would like to get some information regarding undergraduate scholarhsips.

- As for scholarships, did anyone who got accepted manage to apply for a scholarship by themselves so far or are we supposed to wait for a scholarship offer from the uni after accepting the admission offer?

- How was the interview of the Talented Students scholarhip for anyone who did it before? What was discussed and what to expect?

- Most importantly, is maintaining a 3.6 GPA or higher for a scholarhsip considered too difficult in the major I chose or is it manageable with the workload of the major? Any study tips would be appreciated

I got an email this morning saying my application was rejected cause its highly competitive and there's limited seats. What should I do. Should I apply again for another major? I was applying for computer engineering.

I'm trying to decide which English proficiency test would be the easiest option for me.

My target is either:

- TOEFL iBT: 105+

- TOEFL ITP: 590+

- IELTS: 7.5 overall

For those who have taken more than one of these exams or are familiar with them:

1. Which score is generally easier to achieve?

2. Which one is the most predictable or "guaranteed" if you prepare well?

3. Is scoring 105 on the TOEFL iBT more difficult than getting 590 on the TOEFL ITP or a 7.5 on IELTS?

4. How much preparation time did each test require for you?

I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have taken multiple tests or tutors who have experience with all three. Thanks!
