Research assistant positions

I’ve been applying for research assistant jobs for a while now, and I haven’t received any responses not positive or negative. No rejections, no interviews, nothing. It’s starting to make me wonder whether there’s still hope or if these positions mostly depend on connections/nepotism behind the scenes. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take for you to actually hear back? And is there anything I can do to increase my chances?

Uaeu phd admission

My husband received a conditional offer letter for a PhD in Water Resources. However, the professor later informed us that his score is low, and the scholarship criteria require a score of 8, while he only has 3. Still, the professor was very nice and signed and provided the forms. Now I’m tense and worried whether he may not receive the scholarship.

I'm interested in math as I love problem solving and HATE memorizing even though i make some good mnemonics and if you look at my bio marks they're better than math but that's bcs im taking AP calculus, i want a major that could make me rich with my bachelor and i could find a job right away in UAE bcs ill be studying here.

I was thinking architecture bcs i love both drawing and math, but so many ppl said it f*cks you up and in the end you'll not find a job, not even just bad salaries. Pls help.

Hi everyone, I work with UsergyAI, a company that runs paid voice and language data projects.

We are currently looking for bilingual speakers for a paid remote voice recording project. This is not a referral link, app install, gambling offer, crypto offer, or survey wall. It is a real voice recording task for people who can naturally switch between two languages in conversation.

1. Ways to earn

You earn by participating in a short paid voice recording task.

The project involves:

• Speaking naturally in a bilingual conversation

• Switching between your main language and English, or another listed second language

• Following a simple conversation scenario

• Submitting a short screening recording first so we can check language fit and audio quality

If selected, we will share the exact recording instructions before the paid task.

2. Time required and estimated pay

The first screening step should take around 5 minutes.

If selected for the paid recording task, you can work flexible hours per week depending on your availability.

Estimated pay: Upto 35 USD per accepted recording task depending on the language pair

3. Cashout options and minimum withdrawal

Payment method: PayPal / Wise

Minimum withdrawal: No minimum withdrawal.

4. Available countries and languages

This is open to people globally, but we are mainly looking for native or highly fluent speakers for these language pairs:

• Spanish and English

• French and English

• Portuguese and English

• German and English

• Dutch and English

• Swedish and English

• Finnish and English

• Vietnamese and English

• Malay and English

• Tamil and English

• Arabic and English

• Hebrew and English

• Catalan and English

• Spanish and Catalan

• Spanish and Basque

• French and German

• French and Arabic

Priority countries include Spain, France, Portugal, Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, UAE, Israel, Canada, and other countries where these languages are spoken.

You can still apply if you live elsewhere but speak one of the listed language pairs naturally.

Apply here: https://tally.so/r/yPeQBB

If you have questions, feel free to comment and I will answer what I can.

Scholarship for Master degrees

Hello,

So I'm planning to apply for a Master's in Public Health, I have a B.Cs from UAEU, and I graduated with honors. However, knowing that the total tuition fees for this particular Master's is 61,400 AED is making me think before I even apply. I know realistically I cannot come up with this amount of money myself, and I have no one to rely on financially. I was looking at all the possible scholarships/jobs I can apply for to help minimize the costs, and even if I get up to 50% off the tuition fees, I still don't think I can afford it. My question is, should I apply (deadline this Friday), and see what can be done, or should I be honest with myself and save the 200 AED application fee, and move on?

UAEU PhD Conditional Offer: Do I Need GED/High School Attestation or Only Master’s Degree?

I recently received a conditional offer for a PhD program at UAEU, and I’m confused about the attestation requirements.

Do I only need to attest my latest degree (Master’s), or do I also need to attest my Bachelor’s degree and high school certificate? (I have KHDA and MOFA attestation for both but they need MOHESR)

I also completed a GED instead of a traditional high school diploma. The GED is an American high school equivalency diploma, usually self-study, but you take official exams at an authorized testing center. Does the UAE Ministry of Education recognize/attest the American GED for university purposes, especially at UAEU?

Or since I already have a Master’s degree, would the GED/high school qualification not really matter anymore and only the Master’s attestation be required?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who went through the UAEU or MOE attestation process.
