Hi all! I'm working with a grassroots metal and rock festival in London to help spread the word. I am promoting it as a mystery festival to give people the opportunity to go in blind and discover some great music! I have started a project where I work with grassroots bands/venues etc. to co-promote their gigs as a Mystery Gig. The idea is to hopefully reach people who may not already be following the band but are open to discovering new music in a live setting.
You can of course do a little bit of Googling and find the event with all the details if you want, but that negates the fun of the surprise!
Either way, it's all about getting more people to grassroots gigs and enjoying discovering new music. I don't take a cut of ticket sales; it is purely to help promote independent music.
