Boardmasters 2026 issues

I’m heading to boardmasters this year, and foolishly bought no camping, but paid for parking. I should’ve thought about this before hand as I think the plan was to sleep in the car. Is that going to be an issue if I sleep in my parked car?.. or if not, is there a way I can change my booking, or basically any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks

Is download suitable for a first time festival goer?

I’ve finally picked up the courage to book download for next year as my first 5 night camping festival (I’m doing a day at reading this year). I chose it as I like metal/rock music as it’s easy enough to get via train and shuttle bus from where I live (I don’t like driving).

Have I made a good decision? Any words of wisdom welcome.

Has anyone successfully done a festival with a broken leg / dislocated knee?

Hi hello! I've been planning to go to steelhouse festival down in Wales for MONTHS (I must've bought it in October when twisted sister announced they were going to headline but things happened but I still am raring to go) but I literally just dislocated my knee (less than 5 days ago as I'm writing this) and I've already had to cancel two massive gigs because of it and I've already paid over a grand just to get in so I feel like I'm absolutely buggered doing a four day festival in less than a month. I really still want to go and not to bring my parent issues into this but this has been the only few months my dad had decided to talk to me because I paid for him to go as well as he's being a twat about me needing to cancel so fun times all around.

If anyone's been in a similar situation can you tell me how you managed doing anything at all like being on a field on crutches to bag situations and camping and drinking and everything because I have to figure everything out in the next 15 hours or else I'm buggered with resale.

I don't know what to do and the stress probably isn't helping me heal so if you know of anything to do or any insight or just to tell me to cancel i would be most grateful 🙏

North Devon festival

I am a ticket holder to the festival with controversies.

Me and my partner feel conflicted on what to do. Refunds won’t be issued but if I do go will it be a weird vibe? Am I still sort of supporting a bad thing. I’m not sure.

Looking for honest open discourse not a witch hunt please. There’s lots of people involved I know personally and everything feels icky right now.

Many thanks for being respectful

I made a free metal festival booking simulator game

I've spent the last while building a browser game called MetalFestV.

The idea is simple: open band packs, build your festival lineup, place bands across stages, and try to sell out increasingly larger festivals. You'll need to balance headliners, support acts, stage placement and overall lineup strength if you want to make it all the way to Download Festival.

It's completely free, runs in your browser, and has no ads.

I'd genuinely love feedback from people who actually listen to this music because the whole game is built around metal, metalcore, hardcore and rock festival culture.

Thinking about going to Boomtown but haven’t been near Southampton before and will be going solo. Is there a better festival near the North that would be more suitable
