I would like to run a mini festival next summer for my friends and family. There would be about 30-50 people there and I’d want a little stage for bands and DJs. It would need to be within 2 hours of London and have some sort of infrastructure like toilets, electricity and somewhere we could cook a big hot pot for everyone.

Does anyone know any locations I could look at hiring? If it already came with some sort of stage set up already that would be ideal

I went to Greenman last year and had an incredible time. Getting any tix this year was a complete disaster, and I am rather upset about it. I am thinking of going to End of the Road instead. I've heard a lot of people comparing GM and EOTR, saying they both have that independent, smaller festival charm (despite their distinct differences) and they are both great. They both seem to have a similar music appeal, in my opinion last year EOTR trumped GM for lineup.

So I guess I'm wondering why it is that GM is impossible to get tix for, but EOTR still has them going. Is it because it's released in tiers? Is it just a generally worse festival? Is the cult following for GM just that much more?

And if anyone can attest to the experience of EOTR that would be much appreciated!!

Their analysis of relevant threads on the social media platform Reddit, shows that drugs such as benzodiazepines (sedatives) and antipsychotics are the options most frequently recommended, but warnings about their potential side effects are rarely included, they highlight.
The intensity of a psychedelic drug trip can cause distress, agitation, and even psychosis, point out the authors, citing recent research indicating that more than 8% of drug-related attendances at European emergency care departments involve psychedelic drugs.
And this proportion may very well increase as the clinical use of these agents expands, they suggest.
One of the ways to cut short, or lessen the intensity of, a bad trip and avoid potentially requiring hospital treatment, is to take additional mind altering drugs, dubbed ‘trip-killers’.

I just use to drink to put me to sleep so never tried.

What are your thoughts?
Has it gotten more common?

Hoping to go to Glasto next year but know the chances of getting tix again are slim as ever so trying to pre-cushion the Sunday morning blow by looking for potential alternatives. For various life reasons we won’t be able to go to a festival in July or August so looking for something else in June (or May if anything exists!).

We mainly prefer house/techno and are London based. The options I’ve found so far are Gottwood (looks great but quite a trek) and Wild Wood (have heard of less of last years lineup but seems like the right vibe). We went to lost village this year and would have loved to go again but it just doesn’t work for us this year (and neither do we out here, houghton, boomtown…)

If anyone has any thoughts or experiences on Gottwood or Wild Wood, or anything I’ve missed, that would be amazing :)

Secured Lost Village passes today! I've always wanted to go so very excited. We got boutique camping + Zooloo passes. Any advice on how to prepare for the rain? Is is usually bad? What is the deal with the extras such as restaurant, spa, talks, etc. Is paying extra for the dining experience worth it? If you have camped boutique, what are the vibes? I've seen a lot of posts about degenerates peeing all over the place? When should we arrive? What is the best/most efficient way to get there? Should we rent a car and drive in or buy a shuttle pass? Any info would be super helpful! Sorry for all of the questions :''')
