UNCW Social Life?

I’m thinking about transferring to UNCW for the 2027-28 school year. However I’m worried it might not be a good fit for me.

I’m introverted, gay, a city boy (clt) and definitely a little bit of a weird kid. Although, I do have faith I can make friends and “find my own people”, I’m just worried I might not fit in.

Does anybody have any helpful insights about UNCW social life? This would definitely mean greatly to me, thanks.

Waiting for summer grades

My professor has only graded some of my assignments on canvas. When do they usually post final grades for summer classes?

UNCW Loggerhead Dorm Guest Policy / Resident Advisors strict?

Hey, I'm a freshman going into UNCW this fall and have been curious on how strictly the policies are enforced at Loggerhead Hall. Me and my roommate secured Loggerhead for how new the building is and overall hearing good things about its location and resources, but now as we get closer to move in, im worried about how strict and policy-following our RA's might be.

I have a girlfriend who will be living on campus with me, and my roommate and I have already discussed how we are both fine with having people over (especially our friends outside of UNCW), but I am curious on how strictly they enforce the "guest policy" for Loggerhead specifically. I understand there is a 24-hour guest policy on the weekends, but would that work with on-campus students? I have heard in some cases that they will kick out people past 12. -plus can you have guests during the week? if so, has anyone who has dormed at Loggerhead had bad experience with RA's and having guests over? I don't want to cause any issues or get bad rep with my RA.

Bonus question: I really look forward to getting involved socially and I was wondering for the style of dorm, is Loggerhead considered a decently social place? I'm hoping to be hanging out in others dorms and socializing/making new connections in my own building.

All in all, hoping that a lot of this is sourcing just from my nerves/overthinking and was just looking for anyones experience in recent years.
