R*PE THREATS (FLAME UNIVERSITY)

A group of students started threatening to r*pe my mother and were already bullying me. They made a false narrative that I s*xually harassed a girl and they all mass reported me to the registrar Virender Sharma. They framed a perfect narrative that portrayed me as evil

I told my side of the story to Registrar Virender Sharma on how they threatened to rape my mother and hence I slurred at them. Instead the Registrar withdraws my admission without a proper hearing and does not even lift my calls nor reply tonny mails citing that I broke disciplinary violations.

Further the registrar alleged if I do not withdraw in my terms I will be trailed under POSCO act for s*xually Harrassing a minor girl and my fees confiscated. He made all these statements over whatsapp calls which couldnt be recorded and not provide any supporting evidence. In my end, I never made contact with minors.

So threatening to r*pe my mother isn't a disciplinary violation? Regardless of my will to speak to him, he is not lifting my calls. I hate this blatant behaviour. He must resign at any cost possible, if he protects the r*pe-mentality instigators that too being a registrar, the university is set to be doomed.

The vice-chancellor isn't intervening in this situation, he seems to be in an abroad destination as I called up his office directly.

My admission is officially cancelled on an unfair basis, my family especially my mother is facing great distress. The dignity of my mother matters more than my life. The registrar must resign or I must die.

already forwarded this to UGC anti-ragging cell, and registered a National Commission for Women complaint

This Is FLAME University, Pune.

Please show your support by mailing

80 APFC Vacancies

Not many notifications coming; so this sounds like a bit of sigh of relief, although the vacancies are much less when compared to previous years'.

What's the chances that AI would be utilised in mains evaluation?

Given that UPSC obsessively used AI to set 2026 prelims paper, it's highly likely that mains 2026 would also see this.

What are the chances that AI would be used in evaluation of mains copies as well (at least for some assistance)? Does UPSC have such capabilities? It did get some 200cr grant last year.

Is UPSC prep about to shift again?

Saw Jatin Gupta Sir and Sarmad Mehraj Sir`s discussion and it got me thinking.

Does GS2 prep lately feels less about what to study and more about whom to follow.

Jatin Sir has been getting attention for his way of linking Polity with actual UPSC demand and PYQ patterns with changing trends and more application-based questions; I’m wondering if GS2 prep itself is evolving it got me thinking are we still studying Polity the way UPSC wants, or just the way coaching has always taught it? and I have a question for those who’ve actually studied from Jatin Gupta Sir How strong is his base-building for GS2? and overall, does it actually simplify GS2 prep?

Turning another year older in this prepration Happy birthday to me. Just needed to share what is in my mind as I have no where else to share.

I turned 30 and I am a male. No cake, no midnight calls, no plans. I made a coffee for myself and sat on my study table with a half-read Laxmikanth staring back at me, and all I can hear around me is the sound of celing fan.

I didn’t even realise what date it was until my mother called me in the morning to wish me on my birthday. She asked if I was going to eat something nice today. I lied and said yes, but the reality is I might just have a peice of chocolate.

There are times when I have felt so tired and by tired I don't mean physically tired but mentally and emotionally drained. The endless cycles of Prelims, Mains, waiting for results, dealing with self-doubt, and constantly saying to myself that "I can do it."

The worst part of this preparation is that you don't have anyone to call your friend, your hobbies goes away with time and you don't have love or a relationship unlike most of the people. I would like to get my hobbies back and person who is there for me and get love and affection or atleast a friend but these things are not meant for me or someone who is in this preparation. Life is so tough. Here I am thinking about so many things but I don't even have someone to talk to or share how I am feeling today.

I am not writing this for sympathy but I needed to put it here because nobody outside this rat race understands how much you go through on daily basis and how loneliness eats you out.

I am taking a break from studying today. I need a day of peace. I am just going to let myself feel human instead of a robot who studies all day long. I do want someone who could talk to me and being there for me but this all is a far fetched dream. Thank you for reading this.

Competitive Exams

Competitive Exams

Are competitive exams becoming too stressful for Indian students?

Every year, lakhs of students prepare for competitive exams, often spending 2–3 years or even more. The competition is huge, vacancies are limited, and one exam can sometimes feel like it decides your entire career.

What worries me is that many students stop exploring other career options because they believe that clearing one particular exam is the only way to be successful.

I’m curious to know what others think:

Is the problem with the competitive exam system itself, or with the pressure we as a society put on these exams?

To UPSC Veterans:- Im flunking this mains, how do I make sure I have it figured out in the next attempt?

Clear prelims 2026 but lacking mains prep (Lot of gaps in prep- couldnt cover post prelims) . Gave it my best till July end but got toally burnt out ever since- Zero Productivity despite trying to push it as much as possible.
I know I will not make it in Mains but will still put my best foot forward.
For my next attempt I want to make sure I dont waste any time making mistakes I did this time.

Seek your valuable inputs, especially if you cleared mains or are a ranker. 🙏

₹1k–₹2k ke courses/modules ka samajh hi nahi aata bhai 😭

Bhai UPSC mein ek alag hi problem hai 😭
Abhi Vivek Singh ki Economy book dekhi, phir ye ₹1000 ka complete Economy course bhi aa gaya. ₹1000 honestly koi bahut badi amount nahi hai, but problem ye hai ki aise ₹1k–₹2k ke courses/modules har subject mein aate rehte hain.
Aur phir samajh nahi aata ki kaunsa actually useful hai aur kaunsa bas “cheap entry” wala course hai.
Especially jab teacher ki book already itni popular hai, toh aur confusion hota hai — ki course mein genuinely kuch extra hai? Ya wahi content recorded lectures mein de diya hai jo book se ho jayega?
Kisi ne Vivek Singh se padha hai ya unka course try kiya hai?
Honest review chahiye — book + self study enough hai ya course actually adds something?
