Hi All
I am working with an attorney to file federal case on urging USCIS to put in measures to eradicate fraud and scams in the EB1A category. So I am looking for authentic cases where an individual fraudulently received EB1A approval in the last 5 years by profile building or artificial bloating of credentials. Unfortunately that person may be your friend or colleague or an acquaintance. This person is committed visa fraud and cheating genuine immigrants of their opportunity. That would prove that there is lack of checks and measures in the existing USCIS process on EB1A visa category. Hi everyone! Sharing my timeline for my I-485 approval to add another data point for those waiting. My case moved pretty fast and my interview was waived. I filed for EAD but ended up getting the Green Card directly.

Here are my details and full timeline:

Background / Case Details:

• Priority Date (PD): 1/6/2026
• Filing Date: 3/20/2026
• Receipt Block: IOE09361
• Lockbox: Elgin, IL
• Field Office: Minneapolis St. Paul (Non-local)
• Interview: Waived
• EAD/AP: Applied for EAD but never received it.

Timeline:

• 3/20/2026: Application received.
• 4/10/2026: Biometrics (System showed 2x FTA0).
• 4/22/2026: Silent Update.
• 5/13/2026: Silent Update (Case transferred to Minneapolis St. Paul FO).
• 5/22/2026: Silent Update.
• 6/27/2026: 3rd FTA0 and an hour later FTA1. Status also changed from “Case Is Still Being Processed by USCIS” to “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS”.
• 7/1/2026: Silent Update.
• 7/2/2026: Case Approved! (H008) 🎉

My EB1A I-485 was initially received at the NBC in Early April, Biometircs at the end of April and then a silent update at the end of May. After the silent update, I chatted with Emma Live Agents and 3 of them consistently said my case was at the local FO (3 separate weeks in June). This week, I chat two different Live Aganets and they said my case is at NBC and interview is waived. I also called the USCIS hotline and a man says my case is at NBC and interview is waived.

Does anyone have experience with NBC to FO and back to NBC experience? If yes, how long did it to to get approval or if you can share your timelines.

My Timeline:

• Filed: March 19, 2026
• Receipt Date: March 24, 2026
• Biometrics: April 6, 2026
• Interview: Waived for both primary and derivative (For now as per Emma)
• Block: IOE0936xxxxxx

Derivative (Spouse) Updates:

• EAD approved: June 10, 2026
• AP approved: last week
• Both were at NBC

Primary (Me) EAD/AP:

• Both at Texas Service Center
• No movement so far

Today's Update: All family I-485s got simultaneous silent updates within milliseconds of each other. No new event codes. Emma confirmed cases still sitting at NBC with no field office transfer yet.

My Questions:

1. Has anyone seen similar coordinated family I-485 silent updates before approval?
2. Are there any EB-1A March 2026 approvals yet? I see NIW and marriage based approvals but nothing specific to EB-1A.
3. Does staying at NBC with waived interview typically lead to faster approval than field office transfer?

Any insights appreciated!
