Hello. I’ll be applying for Spring or Fall 2027 as a lower-level transfer student. I currently have 22 credits from community college. I didn’t take language in high school and I haven’t taken language yet in college.

Would I still be able to transfer? Would I have a better chance transferring if I stay under 30 credits, or go over 30 credits and become a “mid-level” transfer?

Hi!! I'm currently a high school teacher and am trying to acquire a set of iClickers (at a low low cost) for my classroom of about 25. I have students with learning disabilities and my honors kids in the same class, and it's typically advantageous in group work but hard to see day-to-day progress without hand grading 120 exit tickets! This will be helpful to answer anonymously to the class and quickly sort data. Most don't use them after graduation and I do know you could make 15 bucks on FB Marketplace, but I'm hoping some people are willing to part with them to invest in a good cause :) TIA! Go bulls!

Anyone know what the parking situation is like at USF in the fall and spring term? Like how early should I show up so I won’t be late for class?

I'm hoping someone at USF has been through this before because I'm honestly at a loss.

I missed first-day attendance for one of my online Muma College of Business classes and was automatically dropped. I understand that's the policy, but everything that's happened since has been incredibly frustrating.

Here's what's happened:

• I went to Undergraduate Advising around 1:30 p.m. and was told to come back at 2:30 to meet with an advisor. I came back, only to be told they never scheduled me and there were no advisors available.
• I emailed my professor asking if she could contact the Registrar to have me reinstated. She told me there were no open seats in the class, but there is currently one open seat—the seat that was originally mine. After I pointed that out, I never received another response.
• I tried to meet with my professor during her posted Thursday office hours, but the office hours are listed from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., which overlaps with the time she's teaching another class. How are students supposed to meet with her?
• I don't understand why advisors can't simply place me back into a class that has an available seat.
• I also don't understand why I can't re-add the class myself since we're still in add/drop week.
• Response times have been painfully slow, especially considering it's the summer semester.

The biggest issue is that I graduate this fall and am already taking 15 credit hours. Yes, I could take this class in the fall, but that would overload my schedule unnecessarily when the class has only been in session for two days and there is literally an open seat available.

I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Hi everyone! I got a job opportunity, but it would require me to travel about a mile or so on foot off campus. I'd be getting off after dark, so, is the area around generally safe at night, or should I not take this opportunity?

I heard that if you sent your AP scores to a college, you would've been able to see them as early as yesterday in your college portal. Is that true for USF? If so, where would you see them? Degreeworks? I am asking because some scholarship applications I'm interested in require your most recent AP scores.

So, when I first got accepted into USF Tampa I was set on this one off-campus housing place but apparently my dad's credit score is less than what EVERY SINGLE place is looking for. I don't have the money to pay for a security deposit either because I was going to use my financial aid to cover all my housing. I looked at the on-campus options and the waitlist is pretty long. I'm under 18, so no private student loans that I could get right now to pay off the deposits and I don't think I could get section 8 housing either. Is there anything I could do?

Is there any best/direct way to contact the financial aid office? Ive been on hold for over an hour since they opened. Is that normal? 😓

I looked at the rate my professor reviews and they're god awful. Can anyone on here give me some insight? Should I look into other sections of calc 2 to switch into?
