Hey all!
With USPEER being so new to a lot of people, given they were gone for a year before their most recent comeback with WICKED GAME and the Bite District mini-album, I thought it might be useful to give a quick rundown on the members!

Stage Name: Sian (시안)
Birth Name: Lee Siyeon (이시연)
Position: Captain, Main Vocalist, Rapper, Dancer
Birthday: August 18, 2007 (19 years old)
Nationality: Korean
– What sparked her interest in dance was starting dance school when she was in fourth grade.
– In her stage name, she took the S from her birth name Siyeon. Then she completed it with “ian,” which sounds almost the same as “I am.” Together, the stage name means that she will show her true self.
– She is in charge of the cuteness in the group.
– Sian describes herself as an all-rounder.
– Her role models are OH MY GIRL because she hopes to have solid vocals like they do, and Taeyeon because she learnt how to train her vocals while practicing her songs when she was a trainee.
– She dislikes broccoli.
– One of her favorite numbers is 3.
– Sian says her charm point is her versatility and being multi-talented.
– Sian auditioned by dancing and got the chance to learn singing after she became a trainee.
– Sian’s motto is “Let’s just live life as it flows.”

Birth Name: Kim Soyeon (김소연)
Position: Rapper
Birthday: March 11, 2007 (19 years old)
Nationality: Korean
– Soee used to play volleyball in middle school and tennis in elementary school.
– One of her favorite characters is Shin-chan from Crayon Shin-chan.
– She has a pet rock named Ddudu. She named it that because people tell her that she looks like a character named Ddudu from Ratatouille.
– Soee is in charge of the sweetness in the group.
– Her stage name means bright and joyful. This means that she aims to uplift others by giving them bright energy.
– She describes herself as the cat-like golden retriever of the group.
– Soee is a homebody.
– Two of her mottos are “It doesn’t matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop” and “Every sincere heart creates a lot of changes.”
– She took dance classes at Heartbeat Dance Academy.
– Something she’s into lately is playing games.

Stage Name: Seoyu (서유)
Birth Name: Park Seonwu (박선우)
Position: Main Dancer
Birthday: November 26, 2007 (18 years old)
Nationality: Korean
– Her motto is “In the end, emotions fade, but results remain.”
– Seoyu used to take dance classes at Joy Dance Plug In Music Academy and RED STAGE. Seoyu took vocal classes at Oasis Vocal Music Academy.
– Her role model is Red Velvet's Seulgi because she wants to own the stage and immerse herself in it like how Seulgi does.
– She says her stage name is ‘seo’ and ‘yu’ combined. Seo in Korean means “beginning,” while yu in Korean means “to flow.” Together, the name Seoyu means a first step that opens up new possibilities while creating her own path.
– Seoyu was casted through her mother’s SNS around the time she was in her second year of middle school.
– She trained the second longest.

Stage Name: Daon (다온)
Birth Name: Kim Eunji (김은지)
Position: Vocalist
Birthday: July 7, 2008 (17 years old)
Nationality: Korean
– She was born in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, South Korea.
– Her charm point is being able to make someone join the fandom right after looking at her smile.
– If she wasn’t a singer, she would be a P.E. teacher.
– Daon played tee-ball in elementary school.
– One of her special skills is making mosquito sounds.
– She is in charge of the smiles of the group.
– Daon is the youngest child in her family.
– She speaks English, Mandarin, and Korean.
– Daon trained for 7 months.
– She took vocal/dance classes at Joy Dance Music Academy.
– Her role model is IVE's Jang Wonyoung.
– Daon is a homebody.
– She sent hundreds of combinations of stage names starting with “Da” because she wanted it to start that way. The company eventually chose the stage name Daon*.*
– Daon was the last member to join USPEER.
– Her motto is “Since it’s something I have to do anyway, let’s do our best and work hard!”

Stage Name: Chaena (채나)
Birth Name: Han Chaehee (한채희)
Position: Vocalist
Birthday: June 8, 2009 (17 years old)
Nationality: Korean
– Chaena was born in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, South Korea.
– She is in charge of the humor in the group.
– Her stage name means “a person full of colors and charms.”
– When she was little, she used to watch a lot of idol anime. One that inspired her to become an idol was PriPara.
– Chaena says her strength is having chameleon-like eyes, meaning she’s able to move each one in a different direction.
– She trained for a year and 2 months.
– Some of her charm points are her self-described pretty eyes, her resilient and chubby cheeks, her friendliness, and her desire to be funny.
– An anime she recommends is Attack on Titan.
– She believes the sea is scary.
– Her motto is “If you go a little crazy, the world is a fun place. Hi~”
– A genre of movie she likes are zombie movies

Stage Name: Roa (로아)
Birth Name: Kim Gayeon (김가연)
Position: Vocalist, Maknae
Birthday: October 28, 2009 (16 years old)
Nationality: Korean
– Her motto is “Flowers that bloom later than other flowers give off a deeper scent. ❀”
– She took dance classes at RED STAGE.
– Roa is in charge of the emotional vocals in the group.
– Her stage name is an abbreviation of “Raise of All,” meaning that she lifts everyone’s spirits in the team with her energy. It was given to her by Sian.
– She is described to laugh even at the smallest things.
– Roa’s number one favorite color is green, specifically light green. Roa also likes pink, purple, yellow, and burgundy.
– Her favorite desserts are the ones that have chocolate in them.
– Some of her charm points are her professional side on stage that doesn’t make her seem like the maknae, being perfectly teasable because she reacts/takes it well, and being a person as warm as sunshine.
