Movement speed rune
Why does nobady take the minor movement speed rune? Especialy on the champion like udyr ? I would think 2% movement speed is better than 9 adaptive force

🏆 RANK 1 UDYR EUNE 🏆 Just hit GM as an AD Udyr OTP with 62% WR
Finally hit Grandmaster for the first time ever playing AD Udyr with Shojin + Death's Dance PTA/CONQ setup
I originally discovered Udyr back in Season 9 and instantly climbed an entire division because for the first time I actually felt like I found my champion. Ever since then, Udyr basically became the champion that helped me continuously improve at the game
S10 > first time hitting Diamond 4 then 3 for a short time
S11 > 1 win away from Masters before tilt queueing all the way back to D3 lol
> deleted the game and disappeared for a few years after that (for the better, league is not great for your mental health if you don't have the right mindset)
Came back recently with a completely fresh mental and just started playing for fun without obsessing over LP or stressing over losses, and somehow ended up all the way here:

I still might try pushing for Challenger if I have the time because I’ve always wanted to see how far I could actually go
Main reason I wanted to post this is because I know a lot of people think AD Udyr can't consistently climb at high elo, but this champ is genuinely amazing if you put the time into him. If you enjoy playing him and keep improving, it's absolutely possible.

How does Udyr fair as a duelist?
Currently a Voli OTP stuck in P2, want to expand my pool a bit since Voli gets stale as quick. One thing I love about Voli is his ability to win nearly every 1v1 in the early - mid game, it gives me an advantage mentally and makes me confident in directly contesting enemy jungle.
Does Udyr share this trait? By looking at his kit it seems so, I imagine I would engage with E - R - Q - UQ - W into most fights and then cycle abilities depending on the enemy. Looks like it gives him a strong mix of CC, dmg, healing, and sticking power.
Does this check out or will I be disappointed?

How do you guys build hybrid udyr? And when?
Personally I built hybrid udyr about a year ago before taking a break and got into AD udyr lately but kinda miss the extra slow from hybrid udyr. I tried coming up with a decent build, but I don't think I really got it. I tried DaD into statikk into tank items, but that didnt work great. I tried Liandrys into sundered sky into tank items which still felt like it lacked survivability somehow (might have also just played poorly of course). What would you guys build for a hybrid?

How do you guys use experimental hexplate and fiendhunter bolts when it has a cooldown
I feel like these items would be really good an ad udyr(especially with incoming hexplate buff 50% AS goes to 30AD)
However the cooldown is really annoying , if I purchase these items can I just not use empowered abilities on camps. Seems like kinda a waste

Ad buff, new runes, and shyvana matchup help
I want to glaze how amazing these ad udyr buffs have been. Q damage feels so much better without having to rely on QQ for damage. W shield scaling with ad feels much more impactful over the lifesteal. EE ms scaling is good and a clever way to incentivize casting it over QQ, but i would've liked if they removed the ms decay instead. It probably would've made him way too strong if they did it along with the ad buffs so I'm very happy with these buffs.
Deathfire touch sounded like it would be good, but it feels worse than conq for ap.
I really need help on how to vs shyvana. It feels like she clears faster, deals more damage, is tankier, and scales better than udyr. Checking the stats sites, udyr should win but I can't figure out what to do/how to contest her.
