Can anybody give me some motivation for NET/JRF? Or idk some validation to my exhaustion on competitive exams in India?

I am currently starting my 2nd year of masters in psychology and I have a great interest in research....did 2 research papers(unpublished) and presented in an international and a national conference. I have to do my dissertation in 4th sem and I am exploring about my specific research interest bcoz I wanna bridge my dissertation and phd thesis. Now, I wanna do my phd abroad, after doing a job here for a year or two. And NET is the only thing that will give me a good enough job to survive with my middle class ahh. Anddd phd abroad is complicated and I wanna have JRF as backup. BUT GOOD LORD CUET SUCKED THE SOUL OUT OF ME (all for a shity testing agency) AND I DON'T WANNA GIVE MY SOUL AWAY TO ANOTHER COMPETITIVE EXAM that is my backup. I have good foundation in the subject and I am interested in learning and progressing in this field, but something about this fight for a few seats under an inconsiderate government when my goal is completely different exhausts me. So yeah that's all. I would love some good strategies from people who have appeared and are appearing for the exam, and some validation from people who share my exhaustion.

What's your plan after clearing UGC NET?

For many aspirants, clearing UGC NET is a major goal - but it's also just the beginning of the next phase of their journey.

I'm curious, what's your plan after clearing it?

Are you aiming for a PhD, JRF, an Assistant Professor position, research opportunities, higher studies abroad, or something entirely different?
