Personally I don't agree with Alia one
If yes what kind of roles would suit her? She was last seen in Indian-Vietnamize movie Love in Vietnam.
Hear me out, please.
I fully get why people sideeye Bollywood. They have absolutely overdone the image management thingy, with you on this. But, don’t you feel like we’re also wiring ourselves to believe it’s all PR? (Ok, I blame the “bolly mafia’s” for this partly too)
Interview? PR. Pap walk? PR. Instagram Story? PR. One emo quote? PR.
I mean, an actor could post, “aaj maine chai pi” and someone would reply “yeh toh beverage PR story hai” 😭
I’m not saying PR is non existent, it obviously does exist. But have we become so conditioned that we diss every single opinion before we even allow it to land right, you know?
It feels like we’ve stopped allowing celebrities to just… be people, be humans. Maybe some statements are image management. Maybe some are legit genuine thoughts. But if we label everything as PR, are we also taking away their voice before they’ve even had one?
I don’t know but it feels like we’re spending more time decoding their “hidden agenda” than actually listening to what’s being said.
Feels like we’re becoming harsher than the industry we’re trying to critique, no? Curious where everyone else stands. Have we become too cynical or is the cynicism fully justified?
Are we falling for their trap that has taken away our sense of understanding about what’s curated and what’s not? Thoughts???

She did Vanvaas and Bengal files too, her performance in latter was great
