If your school uses bitfender and securely, then you can pretty easily get around the blocking software by using firefox instead of chrome. I sadly only know how to get around bitfender to open firefox for macs, so if the more tech-savvy ppl on this sub are willing to do it, just figure it out on windows and chromeOS. To work around bitfender, just copy the app from the disc image to another folder. I personally went with a windows xp vibe for my school laptop, so i had a folder named recycle bin on my desktop that the IT guys never checked because its icon was an empty recycle bin. Once you have the application copied, double click on it. Hit open. When it stops jumping in the dock, right click on it and hit show package contents. Open info.plist with textEdit. Then open the macOS folder inside the app contents. Threre, you should see an executable named firefox. Rename it to Google Chrome or something. Then, go to your textEdit window and hit command+F and search for cfbundleexecutable. Under the hilighted area, you should see firefox. Replace that with Google Chrome(or whatever you named the executable). You can now open firefox.

To go further in depth, every proxy that uses Scramjet has failed for me — which is basically all of them — and that’s mainly because of Netskope. The only proxy that has consistently worked for me so far has been Froggies Arcade.

i need a free hosting service that lets me deploy my proxy/unblocker. ive probably tried every one out there at this and ive probably made hundreds of google searches and claude/chatgpt promts, i genuinely dont get how people are hosting it, like are yall actually paying to host a proxy? (i feel like some people do but im not willing to)

Froggies Arcade is honestly the best proxy ever because it feels more polished and it actually works way better than most others. It loads fast and doesnt break all the time like other sites do. Its discord server is the best, as it gives u 3 links A WEEK, and it also tells you which programs block it when it gives links in discord so you know what might stop it from working. Everything about it just feels smoother and easier to use and you dont gotta keep switching around trying to find something that works.

I've already made this post, but I've taken a lot of your feedback from the last one into consideration and have made lots of changes that hopefully benefit the site in ways that you guys suggested.

Here are some new features/changes made

- Removed the Password lock

- Added a Friends/Notification system so you can talk to friends in other classes or across the room without interrupting your game (Some of you may say it's useful but my School loves it)

- Fixed Game Requests (I lost access to the original form so I made it log the request in a database and send a message to the Discord)

- Changes to User presence and counting (so it works better with the Friends panel)

- Playtime Leaderboard shows hours now (small change but makes ur friend's hours look even worse)

- A few more games (pls request more cuz idk what to add)

Also a lot of you accused the site of being vibecoded. So yea, half of it is vibe-coded. There's no way I got tons of this stuff done and working in one day without help. Edit: I try to do it all in one day because thats effort that work take about a month or more, and this is not a long-term project.
As for those warnings that systems flag and block anything that says "Games," I'm planning on getting official separate domains, but I'm too lazy to update the code to support non-GitHub Pages links right now, so I'll do it another day.

This works for Chromebooks. It only half-works on my Securly now, as it is getting blocked by Securly's extension page.

This works if you have the chewing gnome guy when your page gets blocked.

Go into your network settings by going into the bottom right corner of your shelf, clicking on your wifi, and clicking the settings button in the top right corner of your new dock popout. (I understand there are other ways to get to network settings, but this is fast.) When you are in your settings window, scroll down to the Network dropdown and click it (it is right under the Advanced dropdown). Click on "custom name servers" and delete all the numbers you see. You should have 4 rows of numbers. Change every row to 0.0.0.0 except for the top. Change the top row to 66.23.198.252

Wait a second (or switch between wifis) and you should be able to go on anything. Please reply with any questions or something.

Also if your school/job stops you from doing this on the main network, always try the guest network.

Edit: Oh btw for some reason this doesn't work on all networks (I think some networks have different protection or something like that) but it works on many

Not the biggest life-changer, but I did a little testing: if you pin a tab in Safari and GoGuardian (the school version) activates, it won’t block the site or display the "you shouldn't be browsing here" message. This method also works for YouTube; if you search for something, it will still process the request.

The only downside is that it constantly opens new tabs. I think that’s why the glitch works: GoGuardian detects the site and thinks, "Hey, he shouldn't be on YouTube, so let's redirect him." However, when a pinned tab is redirected, it opens the new URL in a completely different tab instead of the pinned one.
