I'm currently a communications student going into my 3rd year at UofW (20F), and eventually pursuing the CreComm program at RRC! Most of my friends are in sciences but I would really love to make some girl friends with the same academic interests as me.

After my schooling I'm hoping to pursue creative brand directing, video editing, or social media management. I'm also very interested in the fashion and beauty industry. Lets be friends!

This is the schedule I'm thinking of:

Fall 2026

BIOL 1410
BIOL 1000
STAT 1000
PSYC 1200 (6 credit hours)

Winter 2027

BIOL 1412
MATH 1010
WOMN 1500
PSYC 1200 (continues)

Summer 2027

MBIO 1220
FMLY 1000

Does this look like a reasonable plan for someone trying to keep a competitive GPA for nursing?
Would you change anything or move any courses around?

I'm also a bit confused about summer registration.

When do you register for Summer 2027 courses?
Do you register while you're still in the Winter term?
When do summer classes usually start and end?

Any advice from current nursing students or anyone who took these courses would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I’m planning my first year and I want to complete these courses over 3 semesters, but I’m not sure how to arrange them to keep my GPA strong for Nursing.

Courses:

BIOL 1410
BIOL 1412
MBIO 1220
STAT 1000
PSYC 1200 (6 credit)
MATH 1010
WOMN 1500
FMLY 1000

Are these courses good choices for Nursing, or should I change/add anything?
Also, does anyone have professor recommendations for these courses.

Any advice how to split these courses across Fall/Winter/Summer would be appreciated. Thank you!
